💡Alumni Spotlight: Attorney Fred David Gray✨

Attorney Gray is a civil rights attorney, preacher and activist. He litigated several major civil rights cases in Alabama, including the Montgomery Bus Boycott of 1955. He served as president of the National Bar Association in 1985 and in 2001, was elected as the first African-American president of the Alabama State Bar.

Bereavement Notice:
We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Martha Jean Reeves Mann of Ashford, Alabama. Mrs. Mann departed this life, Friday, January 24, 2014.

She is the Mother of Mrs. Sheala Foster, Mrs. Melinda Stewart, sister of Mrs. Linda Sue Smith, Mrs. Mary Green, Reverend Jimmie E. Reeves, Pastor of Freemount AME Church in Bakerhill, Reverend Noah Reeves, and the grandmother of Reverend Joshua Mann, Pastor of Saint John AME Church, Abbeville. She is the mother-in-law of Jim Stewart, grandmother of Aaran, Cameron and Brandon Stewart. Her special niece, Crystal Green, special great nephew; Christian Porter and special cousin, Nora Parker.
