11:00 AM Sunday - Traditional Worship Holy Cross Lutheran Church was established in 2001 as the first Lutheran Church in Johnston County, NC, committed to reaching people with the love of Jesus and strengthening people for service to God and others. We built our current facility in 2006 and God continues to bless us through a variety of mini

stries and outreach. We are affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), a biblically based conservative branch of the Lutheran Church. We believe families should worship together. There are many opportunities for participation in worship for all family members. We offer two different styles of worship. Our services follow a liturgical format, have a special time for children, and the celebration of Holy Communion each week. The Praise & Worship service has upbeat, contemporary music, and our Traditional Service offers classic hymns. Both styles of worship are simply focused on God – God comes to us and we respond to Him.
