Good morning Saints!

You are anointed! These were the words that Jesus quoted in the synagogue when he began his ministry. When you were baptized into Christ, you (and I) were appointed to do the same. Just as Jesus brought good news to the people, it is our job to bring good news to those around us. We are to reach out to people in pain even if the only thing we can do is pray for them.

We can choose to get involved and try to help, or we can decide it’s not our problem and turn a blind eye. I’m sure if we look around our neighborhoods, our communities, our churches, we will find areas where we who are anointed and appointed can fulfill the mission we have been given.

Heavenly Father, open our eyes to see the work that needs to be done for your people and give me the courage to get involved. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Good morning Saints!

What is a sacrifice? It is easy perhaps in our own lives to think of it as an act of limiting ones own freedoms for someone else, or otherwise some common good. Yet through Christ, through his teachings and ultimately upon the cross, we were shown a different interpretation of sacrifice –as rather an act of love, of generosity.

Lord, thank you for the path you have shown me through your only begotten Son. Through this gift, you have shown me the purity and light of salvation. Teach me Lord how to embody this sacrifice, to share not only with all mankind, but also to offer up my own body to thee, O Lord, and bestow my love as an everlasting gift to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, grant us the grace and the glory to erect a house worthy of praising your name. Bless our churches, within which we break bread, and share in communion the sacrifice of your Son. Show mercy towards those who yet do not know your name, and help us guide those without, into your light. For we are your servant Lord, and our hearts your temple. For thine is the Kingdom, the power and glory, forever and ever. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Good morning Saints!

The Lord works in mysterious ways. So does the devil! The battle between good and evil is constant, and Satan never ceases in his attempts to lure you to sin. God will protect you, but you must let Him. It is not the Lord’s duty to do so; God has given us this privilege, and it is up to us to ask Him for protection and forgiveness. Through Him all things are possible. Thanks be to God!

Heavenly Father, it is with a guilty heart I come to you; I have been tempted by Satan and sinned, forgetting that you are always with me. Clear my soul of darkness, grant me a chance to restore my faith. Allow me to repent so I may feel your divine power anew. Strengthen my spirit and faith in you, O Lord, so that I can be redeemed. I ask all of this in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Good morning Saints!

Faith is a gift. "No one can come to me unless the Father draw him." Faith comes from God. It is not something we do for ourselves. God plants the seed, Jesus provides all we need to let that seed develop and grow, what we need to do is use the nutrients that Jesus has provided and nurture the seed within us until it becomes a full grown plant and flowers.

Once our faith flowers, Jesus expects this faith that has blossomed within us to reach out to nourish the faith of others. Remember, only God plants the seed, but it needs to be fed and watered and since we already know where to find that in Jesus, we need to share.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of faith that you have so generously given me. Show me the way to lead others to your Son, Jesus, so that their faith may also grow in them. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
