It is always a big let down when the tour is over. This 20th tour was especially enjoyable and fulfilling. And I am most thankful for the dedicated and talented musicians that made up the 2023 ensemble. I wish you all the best of luck and hope to work with you again!

Our Cornerstown tour ended with high enthusiasm. I’m very proud of the entire ensemble and the music we made. My system-missing the excitement - decided to act up and I had my gall bladder removed today. At least my timing was good. I guess I’ll be taking it easy for a few (?) days.

It was special to return to Las Vegas,
New Mexico yesterday and to perform in the beautiful Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. This was another concert that was put together by a coalition of churches (the way I think it should be!) - Catholic, Presbyterian, Lutheran and Episcopal. I was first in Las Vegas NM in 1966 on a misson trip with my church HS youth group working on an old church turned community center. Since that time, Cornerstone has performed in Las Vegas three times - twice raising funds for that same community center. This generous, welcoming community has many needs

Today we have a scenic drive across the desert - both beautiful and bleak - to Holbrook AZ for a night off - - then on to Tucson!

Scenes from Hastings Neb. Four downtown churches formed a coalition to sponsor Cornerstone for a fund-raising event for Habitat for Humanity. The concert was held at First United Methodist Church. The other partners were First Presbyterian Church, Grace United Methodist, and First Christian Church. They did a great job.

Every concert venue is different - some are definitely more challenging than others. Last night we sang at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altoona PA - a lovely old church with a very small front. Fitting everything in was a trick but it worked! Today we’re in Westlake OH in a modern church with a very open front - easy set-up!
