ACCEPTABLE WORSHIP.
WHAT IS WORSHIP.
Worship is any act directed to a perceived superior being or object which is beleived to be responsible for one's life and well being to please the being. example, bowing of head, singing his praises, dancing, killing etc.

ARE ALL WORSHIP ACCEPTABLE TODAY?
All worships today are not acceptable to God and there is no blessings associated with such worship. The Bible has a lot of people whose worship or service to God were not accepted by God. They are:
1. Cain. Gen 4:1-6. God did not accept coins sacrifice.
2. The Children of Eli. Leviticus 10:1-5. They offered sacrifice but with strange fire and God killed them.
3. King Uzzaiah. 2Chronicles 26:19-26. He want to burn incense unto the lord but ended up having leprosy
4. In New Testament The Isrealites. Rom. 10:1-2
Isrealites worship but not according to knowledge.
5. Worship is vain Mathew 15:8-9
There's no doubt that God doesn't accept all worships looking at the examples above.

WHAT CAN MAKE OUR WORSHIP ACCEPTABLE.
1. We must Worship the right OBJECT
God warned we must have no other god than him. Exodus 20:3. No image of anything should be worshiped. Ie Angels, Apostles, Mary, Stars, etc
2. We must be the right subject to worship.
King Uzaiah was not the right person to offer sacrifice because he's not a Levi. 2Chronicle 26: 1-23.
God chooses who will worship him so he doesn't accept worship or prayers of sinners. Isaiah 59:1,2,
John 9:31, Proverbs 15:8, 1Peter 3:12
It becomes necessary that we repent of our sins and give ourselves for Baptism for our cleansing. Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16
3. We must Worship through the right medium
There is always mediator between God and man.
Under the new testament, the only mediator and medium through which we come to God is Christ Jesus. John 14:6, 1Timothy 2:5,6. This makes a prayer to Mary to plead for our sin a wrong prayer.
Any worship that does not pass through christ is vain. Worshipping God through Christ is worshiping God following only Christ's directives New Testament. Mathew15:8,9, and 2Jhn9
4. We must Worship with the right instrument or materials. Every Christain today is a priest. 1 Peter 2:5,9.
The right materials are :
our body. Our heart which must be pure.. Mathew 5:23Roman's 12:1,2,
Fruit of our lips, our praises. Hebrew 13:15
We sing with our hearts not with musical instruments. Eph. 5:19, Col.3:16, James 5:13.
Worshiping with incense, band etc is not acceptable to God.
Our Money. 1 Cor.16:1-2, Phip 4:18. This not Tithe.
4. We must Worship at the right place.
It's true that God is everywhere but he never ask man to worship everywhere but only a place he made his presence felt. Exodus 20:24. Deutr. 12:13,14.
In the new testament he said God is in only where teachings of Christ are practised. 2Jhn9, Mathew 15:8,9
Tithe is not commanded by Christ remember we approach God only through Christ.
My beloved ones there are lots of blessings associated with worshipping God only when we worship him the right way.

WHY BAD THINGS HAPPENED TO THE RIGTHOUES. (Part 3)
The RIGHTOUES are those who has heard the gospel of Christ which is his death for man's sin and ressurection, believe it, repent of their sins, confess Christ as the saviour and give themselves for baptism by immersion and decide to live a new life fashioned after Christ's life. This was discussed in part 2.

REASONS:
1. Disregard of Natural Laws.
God made the universe but put laws or orders that will make the universe to continue without miracles. E.g.
A. The Law of Gravity. Anything that goes up must come down. If a Christian climbs up and disregard this law, despite his Christian life, he will fall and get hurt. It's not satan.
B. Law of Action and Reaction. Whatever you give, you get back equally.
C. Nemesis. There is reward for whatever you do on earth though God's grace prevents you from going to hell. E.g.. if when you were in the world you lost your womb due to incessant abortion, You will remain barren even if you repent and become rightoues. God's grace is enough for you.

2. Satan's Rage.
Many bad things Christian experiences is simply caused by Satan. Job is a good example. Job. 1:6-21, Job. 2:3-8
Satan has power to cause sickness Luke 13:11-16

3. God allows it to keep us humble.
Paul has the power to heal every sickness but he has sickness which he himself could not heal despite his payer. God said his grace is enough. 2Cor. 12:7-9.
It looks like the sickness was in the eyes. Gal. 4:13-16. Paul said this made him not to be exalted above measure.
David prayed that God made him not too wealthy so he doesn't forget him. Prov. 30:7-9.. We go close to God mostly when we are in need or facing challenges.

5. For Lessons.
God used many things that happened to us to teach the rightoues lessons on patience and hope. James 1:2-3, Romans 5:3-4,.

6. A Punishment or Chasetisement.
God chastised the rightoues just as any father chastised his child. Hebrews 12 :6-11.

7. A means of preparing the rightoues for their destiny. E.g..
Joseph must be prepared for kingship in prison
Moses had to go exile in the desert in preparation of his leading Isreal from Egypt to the promised land,
David fights wild animals in desert to protect his fathers sheep's. This prepares him for kingship etc.
WHAT SHOULD BE THE RIGTHOUES ATTITUDE TO THIS CHALLENGES.
1. Accept it as working for our their betterment. Rom 8:28. Your car stoping on the way could be to stop you from continuing the journey to forestore pending accident.

2. The rightoues should always remember, the earth is never their home so they shouldn't be too relaxed here on earth
Conclusion. Christians should rejoice even in their trials. 1 Peter 4:12-13

CAN ONE BE SAVED WITHOUT BAPTISM.?
My answer to this important question is 'NO'!
Nobody can be saved without Baptism.
1. WHAT IS BAPTISM
The word baptism is gotten from Greek word Baptizo. It means to immense, submerge, overwelm, buried, dip. It is a means of adding one to the body of christ 1Corinthians. 12:13.
MY REASONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1 Jesus said except a man is born of water and spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John. 3;1-5.
2. Jesus said that whosoever believed and is baptized shall be saved Mark. 16:15-16.
3. When the hews asked "what we do to be saved" on the Pentecost day, Peter by the guidance of holy spirit told to repent and be baptized for remission of sins. Acts 2:36-38
4.Ananias told Paul to arise and be baptized that his sins be washed away. Acts 22:16. We cannot be saved if our sins are not washed away.
5. In Baptism we put on christ. Galatians 3:26-27.wYou can't be saved outside Jesus Christ.
6. 8n Baptism we are buried with Christ and we get in contact to his blood which cleanses us Roman's 6:3-6. We can't be saved without this contact.
7. Baptism adds us to the body of christ 1Cor. 12;13. Christ is savior of his body Eph. 5:23. You can't be saved outside his body. All converts in the scripture were baptized eg Euthiopia Eunoch, Cornelius, Jailer, the Jews on Pentecost Day, Saul etc.
If you have not been baptized, please do well and give yourself for Baptism.
I beg you read the scriptures quoted for better understanding.

THOU SHALL NOT JUDGE.(Part 1)
This week we will look at the Bible Passage Mathew 7:1,2.
I pointed out at practice by one denomination using the scripture to show it's not in line with God's directive on how Christians should worship. A friend quotes this passage and told me don't judge. Was he right. What do you understand by that passage. Does it mean we cannot point out ones error. Fellow members of The Truth in Love, let's discus this before a post on the teachings on this passage is presented. God bless you all in Jesus Name.
Watch out for part 2.

STEPS TO SALVATION
God created man with honour and glory Psalm 8:4-6.
Man was given dominion over every creature but man lost this glory. Genesis. 1:26.
It's a fact that all have sinned and are short of God's glory. Romans 3:23.
Wages of sin is death. Roman's. 6:23, this death is burning in hell fire. Rev. 21:8
This makes salvation of man from this dreadful punishment necessary.

EFFORTS TO SALVATION.

Divine Efforts
Human Efforts
DIVINE EFFORTS: are God's role in saving mankind. We call this Grace. Rmans 5:6,8
He gave his son out of love for us. John 3:16
He gave us enough time to repent. 2Peter. 3:9, Roman's 2:4
Romans 2:4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?
God has played his part for our salvation.
HUMAN EFFORT
Thesw are roles man play towards his salvation
1. Man must hear the Gospel.
Mark. 16:15,16
The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. Roman's 1:16
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed —a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
2. Man must beleive the gospel.
Roman's 10:9,10
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed —a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
3. Man must confess Jesus as the saviour and son of God.
4. Man must repent of his sins. Acts 2:38.
5. Man must be baptized by immersion in water. John.3:3-5, Acts 2:38, Mark 16:15,16
6. Man must walk in newness of life Roman's 6:3-4
This is the work expected of man by which man must be saved. God is not going to do that for man. We are to work out our salvation with trembling and fear Phip.2:12.
Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed —not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence —continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
James 2:24 We are saved by work not faith only.
If you read this and you are not yet baptized in water, remember you have not fulfilled God's requirement for your salvation.

RELEVANCE OF DOCTRINES TO RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

What is doctrine.?
Doctrine is a belief or set of laws taught by a church which members practised. Denominations exist today because of differences in doctrines. The doctrines taught and practised by any denomination today can lead Christians to salvation or destruction.

TYPES OF DOCTRINES.
1. Human Doctrines. Mathew 15:9, Col.2:21-22
These are doctrines introduced by man. It can never be seen or read in the bible. It was never practised by the Apostles e.g.. baptism of infants, The title Reverend, Most Reverend, Very Reverend, Right Reverend by ministers of gospel, Its only God that has the title Reverend. Psalm 111:9.
sprinkling of water as baptism, making signs with water on face as baptism, Using prayer of Faith to make one a Born Again, worshiping of Angels Col. 2:8 etc. You can never see these doctrines taught by the Apostles.

2. Doctrines of Demons. 1Tim.4:1-3
These are teachings or doctrines that originates from some occultic men who disguised as Pastors. They are teachings from philosophers and some Idol worshippers in the church. E.g. Forbidding to marry, forbidding to eat certain meats, using salt and water and candles as medium of prayer. Using name of angels as medium of prayer etc.

3. Doctrines of Christ. Mathew 28: 18-20, 2Jhn 9-10, Mathew 15:9.
These are teachings of God through Christ. It's different from old testament laws that came through Moses. Deut. 18:15,18-21. Every Christian today is expected to practise the doctrines of Christ because we will be judged by the words of Christ on the last day. John. 12:48.

IMPORTANCE OF DOCTRINES
1. It helps us to know the will of God. John 7:17
2. It brings brings God presence in our life. 2Jhn.9-10
3. It brings God's blessings. Rev. 1:3
4. We are to perish with doctrines of men Col. 2:21-22
5. Doctrines of man keeps our heart far from God. Mathew 15:8-9.
Christains should strive hard to keep the doctrines of Christ. Jude. 3.

WHAT SHOULD CHRISTAINS DO TO RETAIN AND PRACTISE THE DOCTRINES OF CHRIST.
1. They should not beleive every spirit but question every spirit or teacher because there are false teachers. 1 Jhn. 4:1. They should ask them for bible passage to back their teachings.

2. They should mark false teachers and avoid them Rom. 16:17-18, Phip. 3:18-19. Don't swallow everything pastor said. 1Thes. 5:21,22

3. They should study the bible . 2Tim. 2:15, Jhn. 5:39.

4. Christians should insist on only the bible as our source of authority. The only book God revealed what he wants us to do. 1 Tim. 3:16,17. Any book that contradicts the bible should not be acceptable to christains.

5. Christians should always remember all concerning God and life has been revealed to them. 2Peter 1:3

We should remember, the words Christ has spoken will judge us on the last day. John 12:48. Avoid false teachers. When a fool leads a fool, both falls into pit. A false teacher can lead Christians to hell.

We shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free.

Feel free to ask questions, read the passages and oppose the teachings here.
