September 15 — Genesis Study Begins! 

If you are looking for a summer study, Christine Jason, our online core leader, is offering a six-week study using CBS’s Engaging God’s Word, studying Galatians. It begins Thursday, May 14th. Thank you. Truly. Your faithfulness in showing up, opening your Bibles, asking good questions, and digging deep into the Book of Psalms has made this one of the most meaningful studies our group has ever shared.
Whether you came every single week or caught up when life allowed, you were part of something special — and it showed.

This fall, we’re starting at the very beginning. Genesis. Creation, calling, covenant — the stories that set the entire Bible in motion. We would love to have you back in September, and we’d love it even more if you brought a friend. The Central Truth from Lesson 30.
The Hallelujah Chorus.

Although life on this earth is fleeting, the Lord exists eternally and will reign forever. Our praise is wasted on the influencers of this world. It is rightly placed in the only one who offers salvation and eternal life.

Our praise is more than words and song. When we praise God, we acknowledge the rightful place He deserves and occupies in the universe and in our lives. Praise is a commitment to do His will, as seen in Psalm 149:6-9. It is an affirmation that He alone is to be exalted. Hallelujah!

Praying Against Evil

It is possible to obey Jesus’s command to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us and still pray against evil.
Read Psalms 28, 58, 83, and 109.

A holy God must judge evil and rebellion. If He didn’t, evil would have the final word and justice would be only an illusion.
