Because this summer we are not just going to talk about surviving the heat.

What a Sunday at First Baptist Clayton.

We started the morning by taking a moment to honor Memorial Day and the men and women who gave their lives so that we could have the freedoms we enjoy today. As Christians we are called to steward that freedom well, and to use it to take the Gospel around the world. Freedom was bought with a price here on earth, and it was bought with a price at Calvary. We do not take either one for granted.

From there we dove into our message and it was one of those mornings where you could feel God moving in the room. The worship was incredible, the Word hit hard, and the people of God showed up and showed out.

Today is Memorial Day. As you enjoy time with your family and friends, take a moment to reflect on the sacrifice that made this day possible and the sacrifice that made eternity possible.

We are grateful for this church family. Grateful for this community. And grateful for every person who walked through those doors yesterday.

See you next Sunday. Bring somebody with you.

What a powerful Mother’s Day weekend at First Baptist Church! ❤️🌸

From honoring the moms of our house and community, to hearing the incredible testimony and mission work of Angel & Antony serving widows in India, Sunday was a reminder that the Church is at its best when it loves people well.

Because of your generosity, our church was able to provide 25 dresses for widows in India while Dr. Cyril Antony and a team from our county are there ministering right now. What an impact!

We laughed, worshipped, celebrated moms, and most importantly lifted up the name of Jesus together.

If you weren’t with us today at First Baptist Church… you truly missed an incredible Sunday.

Today we honored the moms of our house and our community — every mother received a flower as a small reminder of how deeply loved and appreciated they are. 🌸

We also had the privilege of hearing from Angel & Antony and the incredible ministry they are leading to serve widows in India. Because of your generosity, our church raised enough money TODAY to provide 25 dresses for widows in India while Dr. Cyril Antony is there serving alongside a team from our county. What an amazing reminder that the Church is making a difference not just locally… but globally.

We did experience some livestream issues this morning, but we’ll be posting video content throughout the week so you can still catch moments from today’s service.
