Day 5: With God All Things Are Possible

Scripture: Matthew 19:26

“With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

Devotion

When the disciples heard Jesus’ words, they were astonished.

“Who then can be saved?”

The answer is simple: none of us can save ourselves.

We cannot surrender in our own strength.
We cannot overcome sin in our own strength.
We cannot become what God has called us to be in our own strength.

What is impossible with men is possible with God.

The same God who reveals the hidden places of our hearts is also the God who gives us the power to surrender them.

Perhaps you’ve struggled for years with fear, bitterness, addiction, pride, or control.

Jesus is reminding you today:

What you cannot do alone, God can do through His power.

The call is not to perfection. The call is surrender.

And when we surrender, God does the impossible.

Prayer

Lord, I surrender every part of my life to You. Accomplish in me what I cannot accomplish on my own. With You, all things are possible.

Day 4: The Refiner’s Fire

Scripture: Malachi 3:3

“And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.”

Devotion

Sometimes God’s deepest work happens during seasons we don’t understand.

The refining fire is uncomfortable. It exposes impurities. It reveals hidden attachments. It strips away things we thought we needed.

Yet the purpose of the fire is never destruction—it is purification.

God is drawing His people deeper right now.

Some believers have lived in the fire so long that they think the struggle is their permanent reality. But God has been working all along.

Like a jeweler drawing pure gold from the furnace, Jesus is drawing out what He desires for your life.

Don’t resist His work.

The very thing He is removing may be the thing preventing your greatest breakthrough.

Prayer

Father, help me trust Your refining process. Purify my heart and draw me closer to You than ever before.

Day 3: Who Is Lord?

Scripture: Matthew 19:22

“But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.”

Devotion

The ruler left sorrowful because he was forced to choose.

Would he follow Jesus, or would he keep control of his life?

The issue was never the possessions. The issue was lordship.

Many people want Jesus as Savior but struggle with Jesus as Lord.

The Lordship of Christ means every area belongs to Him—our finances, relationships, careers, dreams, habits, and future.

Anything we refuse to surrender eventually becomes a barrier between us and God.

The ruler possessed many things, but in reality, those things possessed him.

What has your heart today?

Prayer

Lord, I acknowledge that You alone deserve the throne of my life. Help me surrender every area to Your authority.
