Yesterday morning, we continued Part 2 of our Family Unit sermon series as we explored 5 ways to keep covenant in marriage:
1️⃣ Keep Jesus at the center (Ephesians 4:12)
2️⃣ Choose covenant over convenience daily
3️⃣ Communicate before you accumulate offenses (James 1:19)
4️⃣ Forgive faster than you feel like (Colossians 3:13)
5️⃣ Protect the covenant (Song of Songs 2:15)

Strong families don't happen by accident, they are built intentionally with Christ at the center.

Even in the middle of busy schedules, hard seasons, or unanswered questions, God is still faithful. He is still working, still present, and still near.

“There’s just something about the name…”
That makes me cry, “Holy.” 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶

Yesterday was a powerful moment in both worship and the Word. Thank you to Jason Batten, Rise Youth Pastor, for delivering a timely message reminding us to keep a heavenly perspective no matter what we face, and no matter how many external influences try to make us bow to false gods.
Through the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we were reminded that the Hebrew men refused to bow down and were thrown into the fiery furnace but Jesus was right there with them in the middle of the fire. 🙌🔥🙌

We launched our new sermon series, Family Unit, with our first message: “Before We Build.” 🏠✨
Family is emphasized throughout Scripture because God deeply cares about the family unit. What God builds, the enemy attempts to attack, which is why building on Christ matters so much. ❤️
