// All You Need - Part 1 // October 25, 2026

To 'stake a claim' on the Biblical promise, 'my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory', one must start with obedience to the most essential and foundational directives of God for your life, admit and repent of your sinfulness, believe in and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and submit the whole of your life to His Lordship. Only then will you begin to know experientially what He has in mind for your life, by His Word and Spirit working in and through you, a personal relationship with God within which you can then claim with confidence... 'MY God shall supply all of my needs'. Apart from a personal relationship with God through Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord, you have no legitimate claim on that promise.

God's perfect justice will ultimately be meted out, rendering to each one of us, punishment or reward, in perfect accord with the manner in which we have lived out our lives. Those who are not truly born-again Christians, living their lives apart from the governance of Jesus' Lordship, will be consigned to the conscious eternal torment of hell. While those who are truly born-again Christians, living their lives submitted to the governance of Jesus' Lordship, will be rewarded with the conscious eternal bliss of heaven. On that final day of judgement every person's life will be exposed for what it really was and God's perfect justice will, once and for all, be perfectly meted out.

Because God is perfectly just, in His sovereign providence, He has absolute authority to govern all things toward His intended results, thereby setting His perfect standard and related parameters for moral governance, that is based upon righteously just Biblical principles.When the human application of those principles departs from the governance that God intended, then He imposes just and fair consequences for violating those principles. When those who have been entrusted with governance, govern in a manner that is unjust, God will ultimately hold each one in account for how justly or unjustly His governing principles were carried out...and so when it's all said and done, there is no seeming injustice that goes unnoticed or unaccounted for by our sovereign God.

The Bible contains thousands of promises from God and at least one of them will have application to every conceivable situation or circumstance that we may encounter. Some of God's promises are conditional and so if we fail to meet the conditions for the promise then the result is that God will not fulfill the promise. Other promises are absolute or unconditional and God is going to keep them even without our believing in them, because they are not dependent on our direct participation for the outcome. Either way, God can be trusted to be perfectly True to His Word, keeping every promise in His time and in His way.

The Hebrew root word for faithfulness is closely related to the word for truth. Taken together it can be said that faithfulness is an outcropping of truth, because what is true must always be faithful and can be relied upon to always be truthful.That is the essence of our God Who is always true to His Word, because His attributes of Faithfulness and Truth always operate in conjunction with one another for our greater good. He will always be true to His Word to us, even when the situation that we are in seems impossible to resolve.

Jesus promises a reward, for those who endure victoriously, making no room for compromise, when it comes to standing unwaveringly on the truths of who Jesus Christ is and who He is to us. Upholding without compromise, that the Bible is the one and only true Word of God with no other rival, with an uncompromising commitment to the life application of Biblical truth in every area of our lives and in every relationship without mixture. And a willingness to surrender everything that the Lord would require of us in order to make no room for compromise.

As true followers of Christ we will face temptations to deny our faith in Christ publicly, or 'change our color' in the face of some form of societal hostility, or ill treatment, or relational pressure. Tempted to compromise the life application of Biblical Truth in order to preserve the secondary gain or relational pleasure that we derive from someone or from some group. But as truly devoted followers of Christ God calls us to make no room for compromise regardless of the situational or relational circumstances we may find ourselves in.

In order to be rightly reconciled with someone who has wronged you, you must first forgive them in your heart, free of any ill will or grudge or feelings of retribution, while submitting yourself to cooperate with whatever our Sovereign God is revealing in you through the offense. And even then, there can be no true reconciliation until the one who wronged you comes to genuine repentance for what they did to hurt you.

Whenever our relationship with God is breached, or a relationship in a biblically framed family, or a relationship in a properly structured church fellowship, then God is displeased and grieved, because a broken relationship is oftentime rooted in sin or a breach of covenant trust. And yet even in His displeasure God's desire is to see broken relationships rightly reconciled, both with Him and with one another. And so a key to being rightly reconciled is YOUR ATTITUDE and the key to your attitude is submitting yourself, sooner than later, to the sovereignty of God in whatever He has allowed or disallowed in the relationship that is in question.

An essential element in our strategy to pursue moral purity is that we must guard our mind. Immoral thoughts that infiltrate and pass through our mind are not sinful, but they become sinful when we capture them and rest upon them. And so to guard our mind we must discipline our consciousness, by recognizing ungodly thoughts and fantasies, then renouncing and rejecting them in order to control what our mind rests upon. Guarding our mind includes saturating ourselves with whatever is representative of Biblical truth and steering clear of whatever is contrary to the Biblical standard for morality.
