West Bend First Church of God West Bend First Church of God in Clay City Kentucky The West Bend First Church of God began worship in a tent in 1954. The basement was completed in 1955. Rev.

Services were conducted there until the there till the church was finished and dedicated in 1956. The church began under the leadership of Rev. Raymond Berry and Rev. James Clark. Clark is still a dedicated servant of the Lord and to our Church. There have been many changes at the church including the building and dedication of a baptistery in July 1997. The most recent and proud addition has been

the construction of a much needed fellowship hall. Even though it is still in the progress, it will soon be finished with another wonderful dedication we pray before the end of 2011. We have many dedicated people working on it to get it completed

I want to say it has been my honor to have worked with West Bend for over 15 years. Since I was saved my heart has burned to do something that makes a difference in people’s lives, while promoting the Gospel. I pray as I go on with this new phase of my life. Know I love each of you so much. I will be training someone to take over my duties at the church.
