Reminding everyone that today will be the year last food giveaway day at the Jesse Moore Outreach Center Come by and pick up a box of food and whatever else hasn’t been packed up yet This is a bittersweet day for me and the volunteers as we finish our work at this location and look forward to the next chapter in our ministry We have been blessed to be here nearly six years doing the will

Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven…..KJV If you are reading this post, I would ask you to read the entire post as it is coming from the depths of my heart and mind tonight As most know BrotherJimmy and I have been the directors of the Jesse Moore Outreach Center for almost 6 years our focus was to provide food, clothes, shoes and household items If they came to us or called us, we met the need to the best of our ability God has been on time EVERYTIME helping us to provide We’ve never been without food or provisions to meet the need We’ve had MORE than enough most of the time We held church service on Friday nights and worshipped with many people in the form of song and praise and God has always sent someone to bring forth the message of the GOOD NEWS And fellowship well there isn’t enough words to express the fellowship we’ve had in this little country church However three weeks ago we were told that the vision for the church and outreach center was changing and respectfully a pastor was taking over So I’m letting our partners, donators and the public know that we will no longer be there giving out food or anything as of June 30th It has been such a blessing to be there and we’re very thankful for the opportunity we had to grow and learn there As of this day June 10th we DO NOT have another building secured or an address to give out food boxes Our plan is to be mobile in our vehicle until we find another location Clothes and our inventory is going to storage for now So I shall be asking our community if ANYONE has a building for rent or wants to partner with the Grace of God Ministries please please pm me We are in need and praying that God will lay on someone’s heart to help us If you can’t help we ask that you pray for us to keep our ministry going Over the course of time we have fed over 12,000 people and had countless giveaways and provided thanksgiving dinner boxes and Christmas for a large portion of this county We are now in great need to be able to continue this work Lastly I want to personally thank our volunteers who always showed up and did whatever was necessary to make this happen weekly It’s been a phenomenal blessing to us We’d also like to thank the entire MOORE family from Jesse and Cecil who are the original founders and builders of this beautiful church, to their sons and daughters who took us in and made us an extended part of their family and please let’s all pray and get behind the new pastor and the work they will be doing when we are gone We have considered this our home church, Jimmy and I have renewed our wedding vows here annually and been part of several revivals held on these grounds We look forward to attending under new leadership and fresh ideas for the church With all that said, WE LOVE EVERYONE and look forward to where God will take us on the next part of our journey Thank you for taking the time to read this GOD BLESS YOU Sister Ellen and Brother Jimmy Hood 🙏🙏

It is with a heavy heart that this church announces the passing of two of our brothers in Christ this week Brother Jimmy Dale Barnett and Brother Bobby Land have gone home to the Lord We ask God to send their families a comforter for this time and in the upcoming days ahead of them These were men we have been in church with and known for many years They were loved and will be missed We will post service information as soon as we have it and perhaps an additional service at our church for those who wish to participate Brother Bobby and Sister Beverly have been a part of this church for years, and have attended all our extra activities and Beverly has always loved singing with Brother Jimmy and myself We are saddened this day for the loss, but know they are now in the arms of God RIP Brother Barnett and Brother Land 🙏🙏💔💔

In keeping with the calendar we ALL know that Sunday is Mother’s Day This week the Jesse Moore Outreach Center would like to honor all the mothers who are doing the best they can at EVERYTHING they do So this Thursday May 9th we are serving a very nice lunch along with giving away some nice women’s things We have brand new make up bags new bathing suits and new flip flops to help you get into the summer mood We will start at noon and if weather permitting we will set up tables and eat outside We will have prayer and fellowship from 12-2 We also want to remind you that we have 12 queen size box springs left Please call and make arrangements to pick these up asap 606-481-5945 Sister Nancy and I will be glad to help you find some nice summer clothes and shoes Next week we have another giveaway planned so keep watching our fb page for the details We are located at 578 Brush Creek Road in Clay City We hope to see you on Thursday ladies And to the Dads in the community we are planning something for Father’s Day next month as well Thanks to all who donated for this and the volunteers who will be helping We Appreciate Your Support And Generosity Much love, Sister Ellen 🙏🙏

The Jesse Moore Outreach Center is happy to let everyone know that we have received a donation of gently used QUEEN SIZE box springs from our hotel partners We have approximately 18 left and will be available this Thursday May 2nd beginning at noon We did NOT get any mattresses as of yet but will let you know as soon as we get them These can be used to put an air mattress on or a sleeping bag, or even replace one that is worn out we get asked for them all the time There are no holds and it will be first come first served We have held in the past and people didn’t show up and we don’t want to turn anybody away Please bring a vehicle large enough to hold one along with help as our volunteers will be busy giving everyone who shows up a bag of groceries We are also planning a special day on Thursday May 9th for all mothers who show up Details will be posted soon We have some nice things for summer that are sure to please …… We thank God for always providing and give him the glory …… Please keep the ministry in prayer also as we still haven’t been able to get another van that is very much needed to continue the work that we do in the community Our address is 578 Brush Creek Road in Clay City See you on Thursday Be blessed, Sister Ellen 🙏🙏
