Our major project in our trip to Manna College in Kenya is to completely replace the roofs of its two main buildings (20 x 100 ft each).

The metal sheets are 40 years old, rusted through and have been causing major water damage for years. These water leaks have greatly affected teaching students in the classrooms and their dorm rooms. The completion of this project will be an incredible blessing to Manna College students, staff and faculty. Please pray for our team and local construction workers as they give themselves to this project. We praise God for the major funding for this that came through the Jo Oberg Memorial Fund. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

Pray for this sport's outreach taking place next week at Manna College in Kenya. Students will be involved as part of the evangelism training I'll be leading. I also will be preaching during the outreach, along with Manna students. May God do great things!

Thursday our team of seven will be driving to the airport to begin our ministry trip to Manna College in Kenya. Please pray for us, Manna College and all those we will be ministering to. The Bible says in Ephesians 6:18-19, “…praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel…”

CLINT. He will be giving 12 hours of lectures on “The Law and Evangelism” to Manna College students coming in near and far for the training. He will also be preaching on Sundays, during a week-long sport’s evangelism outreach, at a men’s prison and engaging in pastoral visitation.

CONSTRUCTION TEAM (EDDIE, CECIL AND JIM). They will be working on installing new roofs on two 100 x 20 buildings. They will remove the metal sheeting, the frame it sits on, then install the new frame and new metal sheets, along with guttering. Our team will work with a professional Kenyan contractor that has been hired to lead the job. Jim and Cecil will also be helping to lead morning devotions for Manna College students, and Jim will be preaching one Sunday.

WOMEN’S AND CHILDREN’S TEAM (RUTH, MAGGIE, MARIAH). They will be working with Manna College women in cooking, cleaning and serving food at various breaks and meals. They will be leading a vacation Bible study for children doing Bible lessons, crafts and games. They also will be ministering to local women through Bible lessons and activities.

These are just some of what we will be doing. Please pray over all this, that the church would be built up, the gospel preached, and the lost saved.
