🙏🏾 The Lord’s Prayer, A First Nation Translation

O Great Spirit, our Father from above, we honor your name as sacred and holy. Bring your good road to us, where the beauty of your ways in the spirit-world above is reflected in the earth below.

Provide for us day by day–the elk, the buffalo, and the salmon. The corn, the squash & the wild rice. All the things we need for each day.

Release us from the things we have done wrong, in the same way we release others for the things done wrong to us.

Guide us away from the things that tempt us to stray from your good road, and set us free from the evil one and his worthless ways.

Aho! May it be so!

Thank you for those who go out on a limb to speak out your truth, just as Jesus did during his earthly lifetime. Thank you for being able to celebrate the glory of your Son Jesus Christ today. Strengthen us today & for the long haul to be faithful disciples who dive deeply into the basics of our faith to glorify you. We pray that Harvard UCC will be a beacon of light to the community & to the ends of the earth. Blessed be the tie of love that bind our hearts together in Christ with our sisters & brothers in the Prairie Association & folks around the globe. Thank you for the Chicago Young Adult/Youth Mission trip March 7-10. Bless St. Pauls’ UCC in Chicago & the homeless shelters where we served. Bless the many outreach ministries that St. Paul’s embraces including to the Venezuelan migrant families. Bless Austin Hernandez on his baptism! Thank you for the warm welcome in Christ that St. Paul’s extends to all guests as they continue making a joyful sound in the city for 181 years!

Kamp Kaleo in Burwell has released the 2024 Camping Schedule. We have taken groups of campers there many times and they have always had a great camping experience. Check out the opportunities for children K-12.

2024 Camp Spotlight:

Little Kampers #1 June 7-9 / #2 July 5-7
Little Kampers is a great way to introduce young children to the beauty and wonder of Kamp Kaleo. This camp is designed for children entering kindergarten, first and second grades. Children at this camp must have an adult (21+) attend with them. Campers will have fun learning about God’s love through fun games, crafts and activities. They will also have the opportunity to participate in canoeing, river play, fishing, and evening vespers services around the campfire. Campers will be introduced to lots of fun Kaleo traditions such as singing silly songs after meals and tie-dyeing.
