Lighthouse For Christ Thrift store, donation drop off, and referral services. Serving Christ in everything we do! Financial help is also available in limited amounts.

The Lighthouse for Christ is a not-for-profit organization that began in 1989. It operates through a God-given vision to give temporary and emergency assistance to those in Clay County that are in need. It is supported solely by donations from churches, individuals, civic groups and the general public. We are blessed with a volunteer work force who, guided by the unselfish desire to serve, offer t

he best within themselves to ensure that all families in our community can look forward to a better tomorrow. We are committed to helping provide food and clothing, as well as some household items and furniture. These services are offered with a required pastors signature. The Thrift Store assures that everyone's needs can be met and then some! We trust all who enter feel God's love and welcome everyone to stop by!!

The dog days of summer present a real decorating conundrum. But we live in the beautiful state of Kansas, and you know what Kansas does really well? Sunflowers!!!
The perfect decor answer to this problem.

Come see if you can sn**ch something with sunflower or harvest (apple and pear picking too!) themes up. Or, go ahead and get started on fall leaves, pumpkins, and even Halloween - we won't judge!

Here is what we are running low on in the food pantry. If you are in a place to do so, consider grabbing one or two of these items when you go grocery shopping this month.
How can you get the food to us?

✊ Knock on the blue pantry door in the alley during our open hours (Noon to 3 pm Mondays, Noon to 5 pm Thursdays, and 9 am to Noon final Saturday).
🛒 Drop them in a Lighthouse Food Pantry donation bin or cart at Family Dollar, Kier's, or Ray's.

Our monthly Open Saturday is tomorrow! And we're doing it again - Bonus $5 Bag Day!

The Lighthouse will be open from 9 am to Noon. We will also be accepting donations.

The standard $5 Bag Day clothing and shoes (no "new with tags" clothing, jewelry, or under/behind the counter items) policy applies PLUS home decor that fits in a bag. Small pictures, figurines - many of the best things in life come in small sizes!
