Eastside Baptist Church "THE GOSPEL CHANGES EVERYTHING" It is also the theme that the Eastside Baptist Family strives to live by. Our services begin on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

According to Jesus, “Loving God, and Loving People” is not only the greatest two commandments but it is the fulfillment of them all! What Jesus said was reason enough for us to make this our goal. with Sunday School, 10:30 with the morning worship. Wednesday Q & A along with Youth, Preschool and Children activities begin at 6:30 p.m. With active and growing children and youth ministries, men and women's ministries, outreach ministry and music ministry, there is a place for everyone at Eastside Baptist Church. We offer a four day week preschool program, August - May. Our online ministry is growing as a work in progress with the website at www.claxtonchurch.com.

Correction can be hard to hear, especially when it touches something we don’t want to change.
⠀
In Sunday’s message, Pastor Matt reminded us that God can stand against our actions while still working for our good. Jehoshaphat’s choices needed correcting, but God had not stopped loving him.
⠀
The same is true for us. When His Word exposes sin, we can make excuses and resist—or listen, repent, and return to Him.
⠀
This week, pay attention to what God is showing you through His Word. His correction comes from a Father who loves you. How will you respond?

Have you ever woken up thinking, “How did I get into this mess?”

Look, following Christ will still bring hardship. We need to know His Word, dwell in His grace, and keep living and loving Jesus so the world can see Him in us.
⠀
When things got tough this past week, were we the soldiers He has called us to be?
