God bless you and good morning, welcome to the Elder's Dest Ministries I'm Pastor/Overseer Elder John E. Youmans of God's Church Of Love, Worship And Deliverance Inc. In this segment I would like to speak with you about caring and what the bible says on the topic; Caring is define as "displaying kindness and concern for others. (adjective)/(the work or practice of looking after those unable to care for themselves, especially sick and elderly people. (noun) So okay we have a clear definition of caring, so what the bible say about this subject. Well in the book of John chapter 13:34-35; "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." This is from the New Testament, now a look at the Old Testament book of reading from the book of Genesis1:1; "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning , the first day. So there you have it God commanded us to love and care for one another, why because he first loved us with the creation of all we now have! I remember when I was young I would be riding with my dad, and at times maybe some of his brothers (uncles) or maybe with my grandma, but whatever the case would be they all ways cared from those who they meet along the way, someone always had something to give. And it was the same when company or a friend stop by or came over for a visit, if they killed a hog the neighbors had meat......if the neighbors planted a garden you had fresh vegetable, if you was sick they came to help aid in your recovery and you did the same for them. This is how God attended for it to be. We are to care one for another and if we just done, as we were commanded the world would be a better place to live, if we would have kept the ways of old (caring and sharing) for our brothers and sisters, our neighbors and the stranger within our gates, the world would have been that much more as we say, down the road than we are now! Listen, when I was in that accident on June 18, 2021; I didn't know that I wasn't going to be able to work anymore, when my dad passed and my mom now has symptoms of "Alzheimer's" my siblings and I at first had different one to come in, "family members" which did a great job with her, but I my wife and I realized it wasn't there job to take care of my mother but it was mine, and my sibling, so I now stay with my mother 5 days a week until my brother get home from work to cook for her in the evenings, then our sister comes in at night to make sure mom is in bed at a decent time! You know my wife said it best, "A mother can take care of 10 children, but 10 children can't take care of one mother. So it is as clear as a bell "as they say," if we are obedient to God's command we will be fine, but if not we must reap what we sow........... take care of those that have loved you from the beginning and be blessed! This Pastor/Overseer Elder John E. Youmans, and God bless you richly is my prayer.
