The Band, week 2!! 🥳🙏🎶

Tonight we talked about Psalm 133–what does it mean to experience harmony for ourselves, in community, and utilize our faith community to spread harmony to the people around us and to the world? Such a great conversation—with old friends and new!

What we know to be true at APSU Wesley Foundation is that we were not made—nor were we ever intended—to go life or faith alone. That is why we are SO THANKFUL for our partner churches who support our students and our ministry all year round!

We were welcomed and loved so well by our friends at Erin UMC this morning. Thank you for letting us come preach, talk about the impact felt and shared by our campus ministry, and even join in the children’s moment! Special thanks to the Robertsons for treating us to a yummy lunch after worship.

We can’t wait to visit Ashland City in a couple of weeks—stay tuned!

What’s that, you say…THE BAND IS BACK TOGETHER?!? 🤩🥳😭

We had an AWESOME night catching up, filling our bellies…and our hearts! We were reminded through our discussion about Ezekiel’s vision of “dry bones” that God’s breath brings new life to things that feel like they’re dead or dying. God’s Spirit reminds us that suffering and stagnancy never have the last word. Until love and goodness is all there is, there’s still work to do—but we are encouraged that God goes with us and we go with each other!

Church at Hilldale UMC: join us for a wonderful service at our host church!

Caffeine and coloring: take some time to relax with some coloring and get some caffeine to survive through the rest of the day!

Wesley Wednesdays: come by and get some snacks and swag for yourself and loved ones!

Devos and donuts: This time with two timeslots on Thursdays! Come to have a devotional and donuts with our minister Mary Kate!

Multipled: Join our host church for a Worship service and dinner! The band:

Come with us to end our school week with a bible study, food and a peaceful send off into the weekend!
