In this sermon from Judges 6, we explore the moment when the Angel of the Lord calls Gideon a “Mighty Man of Valour”, not because of who he was at that moment, but because of who God willed him to become.

Gideon hardly looked like a warrior, yet God spoke to his identity according to divine purpose, not present condition. This message reminds us that God sees beyond our weakness, insecurity, and circumstance. Just as He shaped Gideon into a deliverer for Israel, He is actively molding His sheep into the Christians He has called them to be.

Be encouraged: God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called, patiently transforming ordinary people into vessels of courage, faith, and victory for His glory.
