CBA Prayer Focus of the Week: Alva Baptist Church

Alva Baptist Church is our Prayer Focus Church for the CBA this week. The church is located in the community of Southside in Montgomery County. Pastor Dan Richard has served here about 18 years as a faithful shepherd. Pastor Dan and his wife Robyn have had some health challenges in recent days. Please pray for them and for the church as they seek to carry out Gospel work in a community that is seeing new construction of houses pop up all around the church.

Prayer Focus Church of the Week: New Life Deaf Church

New Life Deaf Church is our Prayer Focus Church for this week. This congregation is connected to the ministry of Hilldale Baptist Church. They meet every Sunday and are the only deaf congregation in this part of the state. The Deaf are likely the most unchurched demographic in the US. New Life has a new pastor. Nathan Hill recently began his ministry leading the church after former pastor, Corey Harrison left to plant a deaf church in Indiana. Please pray for Bro. Nathan and this church as they seek to reach an important demographic with the Gospel.

CBA Prayer Focus Church of the Week: Northeast Baptist Church
Northeast recently called Pastor Greg Moore to lead the congregation. Bro. Greg brings a great deal of experience from serving in pastoral staff roles at First Baptist and Living Hope. The church is seeing a positive response to this new leadership and is well positioned to share Jesus with the many people being reached through the growth taking place across North Clarksville.

Please pray for Northeast Baptist Church and Pastor Greg as they follow the Lord’s leading and seek to faithfully carry out the Great Commission. Pray that God would continue to give them wisdom, unity, and opportunities to reach their community with the Gospel.

CBA Prayer Focus: Greater Missionary Baptist Church

This week, Greater Missionary Baptist Church is our CBA prayer focus. For nearly 30 years, this church has made a tremendous impact in the Clarksville community through the Gospel and faithful ministry.

Recently, the city honored the legacy of the late Pastor Willie Freeman by naming a street in his honor—a fitting tribute to a life that touched so many.

Please join us in praying for Pastor Jimmy Hubbard and the congregation of Greater Missionary Baptist Church as they continue seeking to make a difference for the Gospel throughout Clarksville.

May God strengthen their church, bless their ministry, and use them mightily to reach our city for Christ!

CBA Prayer Focus of the Week: Trinity Baptist Church
Trinity Baptist Church is our Prayer Focus Church for the CBA this week. Pastor Rick Thompson has been leading this church for about 2 years. They are actively seeking to pursue God’s revitalization of the congregation. They have also been at work in a church plant at the Sinclair Ridge Apartments off of Warfield Blvd. God has already done some amazing things in the last couple of years. Please pray for Trinity Church and their leadership as God uses them to impact the community.
