Prayer Focus of the Week: Bonnaroo Jesus Tent
The CBA Prayer Focus Emphasis for this week is a unique ministry. We are praying for the Jesus Tent at Bonnaroo. Bonnaroo is a secular music festival near Manchester, TN. Usually, about 80-100 thousand people will attend. The vast majority of the participants camp on the property with very limited connections. In the midst of this festival, the Jesus Tent serves people by providing donuts, water, coffee, fruit, snacks and a variety of necessities that people may have forgotten. We also have an electrical set up that allows people to charge their phone. This provides a great setting to meet people and, in many cases, to share the gospel with them. Please pray for the team and for the safety of the event. Mostly, pray that many people will be introduced to the Good News of Jesus!

Prayer Focus of the Week: Southern Baptist Convention
The CBA Prayer Focus Emphasis this week is the Southern Baptist Convention. The annual meeting this year is in Orlando, Florida from June 7-10. The early registrations indicate a much larger turnout of messengers this year. This meeting allows the SBC to share reports of entities like the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, and the Seminaries. It is a time for encouragement, celebration, information, and fellowship. Please pray for this set of meetings and for all who attend as messengers.

Prayer Focus Church of the Week: Pleasant View Baptist
Pleasant View Baptist Church, located in Cumberland Heights, is our prayer focus church for this week in the CBA. Pastor David Mackens leads this congregation, which was founded in 1886. The church is actively using their Family Life Center to connect with their community, and they are involved in a variety of ways of engaging people in carrying out the Great Commission. Please pray for Bro. David and Pleasant View as they follow the Lord in their pursuit of the Gospel.

CBA Prayer Focus of the Week:
Hillcrest Baptist Church is our CBA Prayer Focus Church for this week. The church has a fresh new Family Life Center and a great location for reaching a large section of Clarksville. Pastor Scott Kennedy and his wife Lori moved from Mississippi to serve this congregation in September of 2024. The church is involved in community outreach events, missions, and discipling believers as they seek to impact Clarksville with the Gospel. Please pray for Hillcrest as they pursue God’s vision in their community.

CBA Prayer Focus of the Week: First Baptist Church of Cumberland City

First Baptist Church of Cumberland City is the CBA Prayer Focus Church for this week. First Baptist recently celebrated 100 years since its founding. Located in the midst of a community South of the Cumberland River, this church is led by Pastor David Averitt. Please pray that they will see a great work of God that might bring revitalization to the church and a fresh vision for ways to carry out the Great Commission.

CBA Prayer Focus of the Week: Eternal Living Waters Baptist Church

Eternal Living Waters Baptist Church is the CBA Prayer Focus Church for this week. This church shares a building, known as the Maplewood Building, with The Way Baptist Church. Pastor Joshua Ma leads this Korean/American church as they seek to share the Gospel here in Clarksville. Please pray for Pastor Ma and the church as they follow the Lord in ministry in our community.

Bethel Baptist Church is the CBA Prayer Focus Church for this week. Located on Highway 13, this church seeks to make an impact with the Gospel in their community. Dr. Ted Denny is the pastor of Bethel and is among the 3 longest tenured pastors in our Association. Please pray for Bethel and Pastor Denny as they seek to reach people and bring glory to God.
