It is awesome to hear from people you’ve ministered to in the past. God moves people around for various reasons and various seasons.

We’ve witnessed a lot of people come and go. It’s always an encouragement when God brings them back around.

The main thing to remember is to grow where you are planted and don’t move until God confirms it’s time.

If you’re not planted in a Bible teaching church, you’re missing out on a lot of blessings both receiving and giving.

Just think, every time you hear the Word of God you are transformed in some way to be more Christlike. This transformation is from the inside out. Also, your faith comes by hearing Gods Word.

A lot of believers cannot hear God. Too many are too extreme. On one hand there are those who make just enough commitment to be present every Sunday. They do just enough to get by. Then the other extreme are those who believe they have arrived at a high enough place to be Gods police force. They judge everything to pieces.

Both of these extremes are dangerous. The first is not focused enough to grow and the other is unteachable. And neither of them can hear God which leads to hasty actions and selfish counsel.

The best way to grow where you are planted is to focus on Jesus, serve others and make the church a better place through your commitment to Jesus. Everything else falls in line.

I have got to share something.

Man’s darkest hour is God’s hour of power.

In all my years of ministry I have never witnessed or been a part of so many answered prayers at one time. I mean prayers that have been prayed for a long time are being answered now. God is also immediately responding to prayers. I’m absolutely excited.

We are entering the final birth pangs before the return of Christ. We witnessed the first and second trimesters and are now in the final stages of the third.

During the final birth pangs the contractions become more frequent and increase in intensity.

Jesus said that certain events would signal the nearness of His coming: There will be wars and rumors of wars; there will be famines and earthquakes; Christians will suffer persecution for the sake of Christ; false prophets will come and teach heresy, leading many astray; lawlessness will abound as people do what is right in their own eyes; the authorities will be unable to control crime. Because of lawlessness, people will become cynical and fearful, and their love for others will grow cold (Matt. 24:6-12).

Jesus said that the presence of war or famine or false teachers does not mean that His coming is upon us. These things, He said, are merely the beginning.

He said that the frequency of wars, earthquakes, and crime will increase until finally Christ’s return brings everything to a finish. The intensity of wars and famines and other human crises will also escalate.

We have witnessed every one of these happen in a very short amount of time. And they are all becoming more intense and frequent. I don’t have time nor the space to list and explain every event.

That’s not my focus in sharing this anyway.

Though all these terrible things are happening God promised to keep us until the end.

The frequency and intensity of answered prayers is also increasing. If you’re not praying you’re missing out!

Now is the time to press in and pray for the people you know who do not have a relationship with Jesus.

Now is the time to pray for God to bless your enemies.

He has done some amazing things in the last few weeks around here. People I didn’t think would ever wake up are all the sudden coming alive!

This is happening worldwide. This could very well be the final call! Don’t get left in the valley of decision!

Absolutely had a blast this morning! Watching God move is refreshing and reminds us that He is in control no matter what. Something that can be easily forgotten in today’s chaotic society.

There’s nothing new under the sun.

We are seeing history repeat itself. It isn’t about economics. It isn’t about liberalism or conservatism. It isn’t about republicans or democrats. It’s not about climate change or s*x changes.

It’s a moral problem. It’s about an idea. It’s about God or not.

That’s what we are seeing. It’s about a society getting rid of God. The attack is toward Him. And the more the idea is pushed the closer society gets to pushing God completely out. Then it’s left with its own vices.

The attack on God is naturally turned towards His children.

I find it amazing that so many people who claim God is an imaginary idea and doesn’t really exist spend so much time hating Him.

The blissful blindness of post modern society proves evolution is wrong. An entire generation devolving while believing they can live without consequences is the ultimate deception.

When a person hears the gospel and is convicted in their hearts, they come to me. My job is to introduce them to Jesus. From there, Jesus takes them to the cross to have the old life crucified (Gal. 2:20). This can be a painful process. Without death, there can be no resurrection. Without the old life dying the new life cannot come. After the old life is crucified with Christ, then God resurrects the person into new life. Not by cleaning the old person up but by creating a new heart for them (2 Cor. 5:17; Psalm 51). A heart that can truly love; that can see others; that can relate to God. And this is why a new creation cannot go back to the old ways. The new heart doesn’t have a place for it. The new heart is not above corruption though. So, each time we fall into sin and come back, God creates us a new heart. This is where discipleship comes in. Our flesh will always be weak in this life. So, God made provision for that as well. He gave us the living Word, fellowship with one another and the liberty to approach His throne an ask for grace in time of need.
