Hickory Point Church is a nondenominational church in the Fredonia community. Awana is a youth program that we are launching on September 18th! Children can participate in this program at no cost to parents.
AWANA is an acronym for "Approved Workmen are Not Ashamed" Timothy 2:15
We will be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 6pm-7:30pm. This program comes with specialized curriculum for kids ages 2-18! The children will be divided into groups based on their ages. Children will be fed dinner each night we meet. Awana will have a large group time where they will interactively learn about the weeks bible lesson! (puppet shows, worship music, announcements&awards) Next they will divide into small groups which huddles a handful of kids around a consistent leader to foster warm relationships as they work through their handbooks and pray together. Last but not least we will have group activity time! We will play games, make crafts, or jump (literally!) into activities.
The dates will be following the CMCSS school calendar. We will meet on Wednesdays starting on September 18,2024 and continuing until May 28th,2025.
The Wednesdays we will NOT be meeting are as follows: Oct 16th, Nov 27th, Dec 25th, Jan 1st, and March 12th!
We cannot wait to kick off Awana Clubs at Hickory Point Church and hope you can join us!
