Music Work Day is coming up! 🎶

Join us Wednesday, June 17, from 8 AM to 1 PM as we help fix up and clean up our music library and rehearsal areas.

No need to register. Just show up in the choir room at 8 AM or anytime after. Come for the whole morning or stop by when you can. Every helping hand makes a difference! 🧹

What a wonderful weekend filled with laughter, learning, music, games, friendship, and faith. We are so thankful for every child, family, volunteer, and leader who helped make VBS such a special experience at Madison Street.

Madison Street family, Project Transformation Tennessee needs volunteers to help support their summer interns!

Volunteers are needed to provide meals for interns on several open dates, and there are also open reading volunteer opportunities available.

What a beautiful moment from VBS Sunday! 🌟

Our kids shared Scripture with the congregation, reminding us of this year’s VBS theme verse:

“Dear friends, let’s love each other, because love is from God.”
1 John 4:7

Through the story of creation, we were reminded that everything God made is good, and that each of us is created in God’s image. We are so thankful for these young voices helping us celebrate VBS and share God’s love with our church family! 💙

This week has been full of faithful hands, joyful hearts, and behind-the-scenes work at Madison Street! 💜✨

A huge THANK YOU to all of our VBS volunteers who helped set up, lead, teach, guide, decorate, organize, and love on our children and families throughout GALAXY VBS. 🚀🌟 We are so grateful for the time, energy, and creativity you poured into this special week. More VBS pictures will be shared soon! 📸

We also want to thank our Altar Guild volunteers for rolling up their sleeves and deep cleaning the sanctuary, sacristy, and pews. Your care for our sacred spaces is such a meaningful gift to the worship life of our church. ⛪️💜

This Saturday, Madison Street has an opportunity to serve children and families across our community through the FUEL Bag Packing Event. 💙

Hilldale Baptist Church is hosting a city-wide packing event to help prepare approximately 3,000 food bags for students attending summer school this year.

Volunteers are invited to serve anytime between 8:00 a.m. and noon, or for as long as they are able.

250 Old Farmers Road
Please use the back entrance of the Family Life Center closest to Beach Oil.

We know this is also a full weekend at Madison Street with VBS, and we are grateful for every person already serving. For those who are able, this is another meaningful way to help care for children in our community. 🙏

Pentecost is more than the birthday of the church. It is a reminder that God is always drawing the circle wider. 💙

On Sunday, we reflected on Acts 2 and the way the Holy Spirit makes communion possible, not by erasing difference, but by helping us hear and understand one another.

What a needed word for today: we can disagree and still love one another. 🙏✨

Come, Holy Spirit.
