Update from Pastor about Sis. Ferguson:

We have some good news to share. Her numbers have stabilized, but they are still too low for her to have any type of procedure or surgery right now. The doctors have allowed us to come home and rest, and the focus now is getting her blood levels up before they can address the actual issue.

God has also blessed us with an unexpected connection. The doctor who cared for her in the hospital just happens to be based close to home and will continue to monitor her and see her in the office. Which really made it possible for her to be able to go home. We are so thankful for how God has worked that out.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, called, texted, checked on us, and loved our family through this. We truly don’t feel deserving of the incredible amount of love and support we have received.

We are all home resting now, happy to be home, and more than anything, we are thankful for what God has already done and trusting Him with what comes next.
Please keep praying for her blood levels to continue to rise and for complete healing.

Update on Sis. Tiffany Ferguson from Pastor:

She was admitted to the hospital Friday for blood transfusions.

As of today, Sunday, her hemoglobin levels are still not stable and continue to stay too low. The doctors are looking at several different options moving forward. There are some underlying factors that make it a little difficult.

Please pray with us that her levels stabilize and that God gives the doctors wisdom and direction as they determine the next steps.

Everyone is in good spirits. We are incredibly thankful for every prayer, message, call, and person checking in on her. We truly feel the love and prayers surrounding our family.

Meet Chrissy Phillips!

Chrissy leads our Recover Life ministry right here at Christian Life Center, bringing a heart full of compassion and a life completely transformed by God.

Her calling is rooted in her own powerful story. After a 25-year battle with m**h addiction, Chrissy has been in long-term recovery for over 14 years (since February 17, 2012)! God took every piece of her journey and turned it into a ministry of hope, proving that your past never disqualifies you and that Jesus still sets captives free.

Chrissy is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Arkansas and serves as an outpatient therapist with Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Healthcare, working with kids, teens, adults, and families through emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. She’s also a Nationally Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist with deep experience helping those walking through complex trauma, co-occurring disorders, and the justice system.

She earned her bachelor’s in Psychology: Christian Counseling from Liberty University and her Master of Social Work specializing in Trauma-Informed Practice from Walden University. By pairing her professional knowledge with her personal testimony, Chrissy helps others find real emotional stability, accountability, and lasting freedom.

Above all, Chrissy is a devoted mom to Blake and Olivia, living proof that healing in one generation creates strength for the next! When she’s not serving at work or ministry, you’ll find her hanging out with family or keeping up with her energetic 5-year-old Black Lab, Nix.

Her life is anchored in 1 Peter 2:9: “…him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

Join us Tuesday, September 1st for our Coin Celebration and hear Chrissy’s testimony.
