Cumberland Presbyterian Preschool, Clarksville TN Just off Madison St., dedicated to the social, emotional, and academic development of 3 and 4 olds. Our school year runs August through May. to 2:00 p.m.

Classrooms are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. Tuition is $1200 yearly and payments can be made monthly at $120 a month with a $45 registration fee. You may contact the church office at

school teachers encourage the social and academic growth of children through our three year old and four year old pre-k program by incorporating hands on learning as well as seated work and social play. A typical day for a four year old preschooler would look like this:

9:00-9:30 Arrival Free choice play or centers
9:30-9:45 Clean up/Restroom break
9:45-10:10 Circle Time
10:10-10:30 Morning work/Restroom break
10:30-10:50 Snack/Recess
10:50-11:50 Art/Math/Science (rotated)
11:50-12:00 Restroom
12:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00-1:30 Language arts(Scholastic News)or phonemic awareness
1:30-1:45 Pack up
1:45-2:00 Recess/Dismissal

Our three year old preschoolers are introduced to the alphabet, numbers, shapes, nursery rhymes and story time as well as cutting, coloring and social play. We also celebrate holidays and include special guests such as the dentist and participation in St. Jude Trike a Thon. We look forward to serving you and your child.

We are getting excited for the start of the 2024-25 school year. The teachers are gearing up for a fun filled year of social and academic learning.

Spots are filling quickly, but a few remain in both our 3 and 4-year-old classes.

We have 2 licensed teachers on our staff: the 4/5-year-old PreK class teacher has years of public and private school teaching experience.

The Preschool Director has been a TN Licensed teacher and currently teaches future teachers in the College of Education at APSU.

We follow the TN State Early Learning Developmental Standards for PreK that directly align with the TN State standards for Kindergarten, as well as the Developmentally Appropriate Practices standards as set by the National Association of Educators of Young Children (NAEYC).

Yearly tuition and registration fee are kept at a minimum as this is a church outreach program.

Preschool meets from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
