Happy September! Remember that this month we are adjusting several of our Mass and confession times. See the flyer for more details. (Our 8 am English Mass on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will continue as usual, as will our 7 pm Spanish Mass on Thursday, with confessions beforehand from 6:30 - 6:55 pm.)

El ministerio Project Rachel ofrecerá un retiro "Un Día de Oración y Sanación" para mujeres que buscan sanación después de un ab**to pasado. El retiro se llevará a cabo en español el sábado 19 de septiembre de 2026, en el área de Fayetteville/Springdale, de 9:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m. Las participantes encontrarán esperanza y apoyo — tanto de otras mujeres que han atravesado este proceso de sanación como de la Iglesia — en un entorno seguro y libre de juicios. Habrá oración y tiempo para la reflexión en silencio. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de experimentar el amor y la misericordia de Dios en el sacramento de la reconciliación, o simplemente conversando con un sacerdote. La jornada concluirá con una misa privada.

Remember that this Sunday, August 30, is our PRE Open House! Students are invited to check out their room and meet their teacher between 11 am and 12 pm, which is our new class time this year. Families who have not yet signed up their students for catechism class can also do so during this time. Classes will begin on Sunday, September 13; the final deadline to register is September 30.

Project Rachel, a ministry of the Respect Life Office of the diocese, will offer a “Day of Prayer and Healing,” a one-day retreat for anyone who seeks healing from a past abortion. The retreat will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in English, in the Fayetteville/Springdale area from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hope and support are offered from a trained team, including others who have experienced this journey to healing. All inquiries are strictly confidential, and the exact location of the retreat will be revealed to registered participants only. This is a non-judgmental group. We love you and are praying for you.

As we begin a new month, we are looking ahead to next month and some upcoming changes to our Mass and confession schedule.

*CHANGES TAKE EFFECT SEPTEMBER 1.*

-Saturday evening Mass: new time is 4:30 pm in English. (Confessions beforehand from 3:30-4:15 pm)

-Sunday Masses: new times are 9:30 am in English and 12:30 pm in Spanish. (Confessions after from 1:30 until finished.)

*New times for Sunday PRE/catechism classes will be 11 am-12 pm*

-Tuesday evening Mass: new time is 5:30 pm in English. (Confessions beforehand from 5:00-5:25 pm)

The following Mass and confession times will remain unchanged:

-Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Masses: 8 am in English

-Thursday evening Mass: 7 pm in Spanish. (Confessions beforehand from 6:30-6:55 pm)

With sadness, but with faith in eternal life, we share news of the passing of our friend and parishioner Gene Dahlem. His funeral Mass will be at Holy Redeemer on Monday, July 27 at 10 am, with a Rosary preceding at 9:30 am. Please pray for Gene's repose and also remember his wife Janie and his family in your prayers.
