Let’s talk about staying connected, y’all! 💙🙏🏽
This week at Recover Life, we’re discussing a crucial aspect of relapse prevention and Step 11, which is essential for safeguarding our recovery and fostering personal growth.
Step 11 teaches us to seek God through prayer and meditation—asking for His will and the power to follow through. That means making room to listen, reflect on His Word, and put it into practice.
Principle 7 reminds us to set aside daily time for self-examination, Bible reading, and prayer. A little honest heart check:
“Lord, what’s going on in me? What needs attention? What’s my next right step?”
We’ll talk about recognizing when we’re pulling away from support, hiding struggles, or making excuses for old patterns. We’ll also use a HEART check: Am I Hurting, Exhausted, Angry, Resentful, or Tense?
Those feelings deserve attention and care. We can bring them to Jesus AND reach out to someone safe. Make the call. Keep the meeting. Ask for help. You don’t have to carry everything by yourself!
If you’ve been struggling or have returned to an old pattern, there’s a place for you here. Come as you are, and let’s take the next step together. ❤️
