Mt Hermon Baptist Church

Mt Hermon Baptist Church Mt. Hermon Baptist Church loves Jesus and Jesus Loves You! Join us on Sunday and Wednesdays! Mount Hermon Baptist Church was organized in 1834.

Mount Hermon Baptist Church is an evangelistic fellowship prayerfully committed to serving God through worship, teaching, stewardship, and missions. Through the years, the church has had an impact on the community, expanding in both property and buildings and touching the hearts and lives of many with the gospel. In 2001, a new Worship Center was built along with Sunday School classrooms. In 2012,

a Family Life Center was constructed with additional Sunday School classes. The fall of 2017 we completed another Sunday School wing and a new church office. Today, Mount Hermon is an exciting, growing church touching the lives of hundreds every week.

We are excited to have our AWANA Club starting up again!

What happens at Awana Club?

A night at an Awana club balances connection, learning the Gospel, and having fun to help kids grow relationally and spiritually.

Large Group Time

Large Group Time centers around the week’s Bible lesson, but it’s more than sitting and listening! We make it interactive and fun for your kiddos, welcoming Christ into our club time.

Small Group Time

Small Group Time huddles a handful of kids around a consistent leader to foster warm relationships as kids ask their questions and discuss the Bible lesson, work through their handbooks and pray together.

Group Activity Time

Kids have fun! Kids never forget playing games, making crafts and jumping (literally!) into activities.

Ages

We welcome all children ages 0 to 12 in our AWANA Club. You do not have to be a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church to attend (but we'd certainly love for you to call our church home!).

Fees

There are no fees associated with our AWANA Club.

Schedule

We meet each Sunday evening from 5 pm-7 pm from August to May, with breaks for Fall Break, Christmas/New Year Break, Easter, etc., that follow the local school calendars.

Drop Off & Pick Up

It is very important that your child be brought inside and taken to their assigned classroom to be signed in and meet their teachers between 4:45 pm and 5 pm. At the end of the evening, children may be picked up in their same classroom at 7 pm. Children will not be dismissed to older siblings or allowed to go outside before their parents arrive.

Attire

Please make sure your child wears comfortable play clothes and tennis shoes. Girls should wear shorts under their dresses if worn. Children will be awarded club shirts/vests appropriate for their club level that should be worn each week to club once they have been provided. Weather permitting, clubbers sometimes play outside, and jackets may be necessary during the cooler months.

Registration

You may register your child onsite or online at www.mounthermonbaptist.org/AWANA
