Sunday Sermon Recap | Mark 4:35–41
Pastor Jeremiah shared a powerful message about the storms we face in life and how Jesus meets us in the middle of them.
Three Types of Storms:
* Storms of Correction: When we are running from God.
* Storms of Instruction: When God is teaching us something.
* Storms of Evil: When we face evil and are called to turn to God.
The Two-Fold Purpose of the Storm:
1. To bring praise, glory, and honor to Jesus as we recognize who He truly is.
2. To find peace in the middle of our storms through Jesus.
The Takeaway:
* Jesus pursues us first. We cannot save ourselves.
* We respond by asking Him to forgive our sins and inviting Him into our lives.
* Even with Jesus, we will face storms.
* Jesus has the authority to rebuke the storm.
* Through Him, we can experience peace.
* As we witness His power and faithfulness, we will live in awe of His majesty.
No matter what storm you’re facing, remember: Jesus is with you, He is in control, and He can bring peace in the middle of it.
