🌎👓 311 people served. 311 opportunities to share the love of Christ.

From July 22–29, our Director of Family Life, along with a team of 10 adults, traveled to Santiago Zamora, Guatemala, with MOST Ministries for an eyeglass mission trip.

Working alongside members of Rendentor Del Mundo (Redeemer of the World) Lutheran Church, the team served the Santiago Zamora community through a five-day eyeglass clinic. Each person who came through the clinic first heard a message about the Gospel and learned about the local church. Then they moved through four stations where their eye health was assessed, their vision tested, glasses or sunglasses selected, and their new glasses cleaned and properly fitted.

In just five days, 311 people were served! 👓❤️

The team was blessed not only with the opportunity to provide better vision, but to share the hope and love of Jesus with people in the community.

The trip also included a day exploring beautiful Antigua, a coffee plantation tour, and a visit to a famous viewpoint overlooking the city.

Our Director of Family Life is grateful for the many blessings throughout the trip, including wonderful weather, amazing translators, safe travels, and a beautiful home for the week.

And most of all, she wishes to thank everyone who helped make this mission possible through thoughtful prayers, financial support, and eyeglass donations. This generosity helped bring clearer vision and the message of Christ to 311 people in Guatemala. 🙏❤️
