Today we celebrate our ancestors, and friends who have passed and are laid to rest here at Rock Creek Cemetery. If you were unable to join us, please know you were missed.

This year we have a new person mowing and w**d eating the cemetery.

We depend on donations to provide upkeep for the cemetery and to maintain the insurance on and electricity in the church. Our budget is very meager. If you have connections to the church and cemetery and wish to support the upkeep, please mail those to:

It’s that time of year again (the third Sunday in May). Please come join us at 11:00 CST on May 17, 2026 to honor our ancestors and family at Rock Creek Church and Cemetery.

As always we will have uplifting music and meaningful worship to remember our loved ones and honor God. The cemetery is freshly mowed and the church has been cleaned for this annual service. Please come and join us. The only thing missing is YOU.

Thanks to Doug Childress for not only picking up the very large logs but also for completely removing the two root balls. A little tractor work and the site will be ready for re-seeding.

Just a reminder to all:

Memorial/Decoration Day is the 3rd Sunday in May. This year that is May 21. We will be recognizing all of those that helped with the storm damage cleanup. Please mark your calendar and share with your friends and family. We would love to have the church full!!! I hope to see you at Rock Creek at 11:00 am on May 21. God bless each and everyone.

Thanks to our Judge Kevin Henderson and Jailer Jason Woosley for providing the wood chipper and inmate labor to clean up the limbs. This is all that is left. Simply amazing. Thanks to Robin Decker for taking the latest pictures.

Yesterday. April 1 was a tremendous blessing for Rock Creek Cemetery. God blessed us with at least 36 individuals who volunteered out of love for their ancestors, for the church cemetery, and for their neighbors to help make the day a huge success.

The amount of work performed was such a blessing.

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time.

A special thank you to the Scott family for driving in to tackle that big 120 year old tree.

Another big thank you to the Decker family for providing the equipment to move the logs. Without the skid steer and the dump truck, we would never have got the work done.

Thank you to Roy Powell for the use of his tractor.

On a personal note, I was amazed at the teamwork displayed across generations that included youth, adults, and those of us who are older😊.

In our time of need, God provides. This project was a testimony to that fact.
