From the youngest among us to those reaffirming their faith, our Pentecost Sunday baptismal ceremony on the banks of the Mississippi River was a beautiful reminder that God’s story is still being written in our church family. Thankful for every person who stepped forward in baptism and every heart that remembered the promises made over them.

He leads us by still waters. To God be the glory, now and forever.

Join us this Sunday for a special Mississippi River Baptismal Ceremony featuring baptism, baby dedication, and remembrance of baptism. Whether you are taking your first step in faith, dedicating your child, or remembering God’s promises in your own baptism, all are welcome to take part. You do not have to be a member of Clarksdale Methodist Church to participate.

The ceremony will take place Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Delta Landing on the Mississippi River.

If you want more information or would like to participate, please call the church office by Thursday at 662-624-8596. We would be honored to celebrate with you.

Exciting news: our co-ed softball team roster is FULL! We would love for our church family to come out and support us for this fun event. Every Thursday evening this summer from May 29th-July 30th. We will save you a seat! GO CMC!
