The Oil Room: Daily Pour
June 19, 2026
Scripture:
“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” — Isaiah 1:19
Hey girl, hey! ☕💕
Can I be honest with y’all for a minute? I think some of us blame the devil for things that perfection is actually causing. I know. Let’s talk about it. 👀
Sis, how many things has God told you to do that are still sitting in your notes app? How many businesses haven’t launched? How many books haven’t been written? How many prayers haven’t been prayed? How many videos haven’t been posted? Not because God said no… But because you’re waiting for everything to be perfect.
You want the perfect plan. The perfect confidence. The perfect finances. The perfect body. The perfect timing. Meanwhile, God is over there like, “Baby, I said GO.”
Whew. 😮💨
Can I tell you a secret? If I had waited until I felt qualified, there would be no Daily Pour. There would be no Morning Prayer, speaking engagements, or worship leading. There would be no ministry.
Because every single thing God has called me to do, I started scared. Every. Single. Time. I didn’t have all the answers. I didn’t have all the money.
I didn’t have all the confidence. And baby, I still don’t have it all figured out now. 😂But I have learned that God doesn’t bless perfection. He blesses obedience. The truth is, some of us are asking God for instructions when He’s waiting on us to obey the last thing He already told us.
Sis, stop waiting until you feel ready. Most of the people you admire weren’t ready either. They were just willing. And willingness in the hands of God can take you places talent alone never could. So post the video. Write the book. Start the ministry. Launch the business. Apply for the opportunity. Pray the prayer. Have the conversation. Do the thing God told you to do because delayed obedience is still disobedience. And somebody’s breakthrough may be connected to your yes.
Prayer 🙏🏽
Father God,
Thank you for being patient with us, even when fear, doubt, and insecurity try to keep us stuck. Father, forgive us for the times we have allowed perfection to become an excuse for disobedience. Forgive us for waiting on the perfect moment when You have already given us the instruction.
Lord, help us to trust You more than we trust our feelings. Give us the courage to move even when we’re nervous. Give us the faith to say yes even when we can’t see the whole picture.
Father, remind us that You do not call the qualified, You qualify the called. Strengthen every woman reading this today. Stir up the gifts, dreams, and purpose that You placed on the inside of her. Let her know that she doesn’t have to have it all together for You to use her.
Today, we choose obedience over fear.
Faith over excuses.
Purpose over procrastination.
And we’ll be careful to give You all the glory, honor, and praise.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen. 🩷
