As the rain begins to fall outside, we hope everyone is safe and warm inside! Someone jokingly said today that I was probably looking forward to the storm. My response....I wish it would miss us entirely. If we get hit with what is being projected, it will be catastrophic for our area. Unfortunately, we will likely see a lot of trees fail. We will prioritize trees on homes first. Given the expected widespread impacts, we have contract crews on standby to help with clearing driveways while we respond to trees on homes. We spent some time today making sure our saws are sharp and all of our equipment is ready to go. We are sure the next few days are going to be busy, but providing 24/7 emergency response is what we do!

If you end up with a tree on your home from the storms tonight, you don't have to try and take care of it yourself, you don't have to wait for 3 estimates, and you most definitely don't need to wait for your insurance company to see it or approve it.

We will remove the tree and work directly with your insurance company to get the bill covered. In fact, if you are making a claim with your insurance company, we don't collect any money at the time of service. We will remove your tree so you can start the recovery process and then invoice your insurance.

We finished removing the historic Maple trees today at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School and wanted to say thank you for trusting us to take care of your beautiful campus! While we hated to see them go, they were severely diseased and had become very hazardous. Although removing these enormous trees was no easy task, I'm incredibly thankful to have the best team around that made everything go smoothly. Both trees were removed and the stumps were ground in 2 days. A huge shout out to Summit Crane LLC. for doing all the heavy lifting, and also for grinding the stumps each evening. We finished under the lights, but it was well worth it!

We are cutting 2 extremely large Maple trees for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School today. As you can see, they are well past their prime. We're also very thankful the hornet nest we found had already been vacated! 😂

We have received multiple calls already this morning with trees on homes. We have also been notified of people waiting to hear from their insurance company before they call us to have the tree removed. Please know, you DO NOT have to wait for your insurance company to approve removal of a tree off of your home. A tree on a home is a very hazardous situation, as the tree can continue to settle and shift causing more damage to the structure or even harm to the occupants. We are highly experienced in navigating insurance claims and can help walk you through the process. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need help. We hope everyone stays safe!

We cut several trees this past week for a repeat customer at their property on the Soque River. You would never know this beautiful farm lies just a few hundred feet from the Clarkesville square. I'm thankful for the trust people place in us to care for their property, and I am grateful to be part of a community that supports small businesses!

We sure are thankful for some cooler weather this morning! And we're also thankful for cranes that make our life much easier! We're taking down some dead White Oaks this morning for a repeat customer. Without Summit Crane LLC. helping us out, we'd have to haul all of the debris nearly 300ft to the chipper. We continue to be amazed at the goodness of The Lord in our lives, and how He continues to bless us. We have certainly received an abundance of mercy and grace, far beyond what we deserve!

What a beautiful sunrise the Lord gave us this morning! We don't typically work on Saturday, but providing 24/7 emergency response is what we do! Unfortunately, our customer had a very large Red Oak that fell, damaging their home and destroying their shed. We lifted the tree off of their home and shed, removed all of the debris, and completely cleaned up the mess, all with no out of pocket cost for our customer. If you ever find yourself in this situation, give us a call, and we'll be glad to help you out!

We didn't have much room for Summit Crane LLC. to maneuver today, but we still got it done! I'm thankful the clouds kept us in the shade most of the day!
