We are so excited to welcome back Pastor Philip Hancock and his beautiful wife of 37 years, Danna, to our church this Sunday! The last time Pastor Philip was with us, he delivered one of the most powerful sermons — one that truly touched hearts and even brought tears to my eyes. We are so thankful God has blessed us with such wonderful pastors who faithfully share His Word.

Pastor Philip will be preaching from 2 Corinthians 9:8, and we know God has a special message prepared for us.

Services begin at 11:00 a.m. We would love for you to come worship with us and experience the presence of God together!

THE CHURCH IS OPEN FOR EVACUEES

We are honored to welcome our guest pastor this week, Todd Dyess. He is a retired Methodist pastor who has faithfully served the church for many years. He has two grown children and four grandchildren who are a special blessing in his life.

Clarendon has always held a special place in his heart, as it was like a second home to him growing up. His grandmother, Mrs. Todd, along with my aunt and uncle, lived here years ago, and he spent many visits here through the years. He also attended Clarendon College, making his connection to our community even more meaningful.

In addition to his years in ministry, he also served as the District Superintendent for the Amarillo District. We are thankful to have him with us and look forward to hearing the message God has placed on his heart.

We are excited to welcome Pastor Kevin Deckard with us this Sunday!

Kevin grew up in Amarillo and married his high school sweetheart in 1978. After working in family businesses, he answered the call to full-time ministry in 1993. Over the next 29 years, he faithfully served three churches—First Methodist in Canyon (as youth pastor and later associate pastor), Westover Fellowship Methodist in Amarillo (as senior pastor), and Polk Street Methodist, where he served as associate pastor for the final 16 years of his ministry.

Kevin retired in 2022 and now resides in Canyon, where he continues to serve and volunteer in many meaningful ways.

We would love for you to join us this Sunday as we worship together, hear the message God has placed on his heart, and give Pastor Deckard a warm welcome!

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week—a time to reflect, remember, and prepare our hearts. 🌿

The same crowd that shouted “Hosanna!” would soon cry “Crucify Him.”
It’s a reminder of how quickly hearts can change—and how faithful Jesus remained through it all.

Join us this weekend as we walk this meaningful path together.
