Could Noah’s Ark really have been found?
The renewed excitement surrounding this incredible possibility points us back to one of the Bible’s most powerful accounts!

Noah built the Ark when there wasn’t a cloud in sight. He believed God, obeyed God, and trusted God—and his faith carried his family through the flood.

Whether the Ark itself is ever confirmed, its message still speaks loud and clear: When God speaks, we can trust Him!

We can become fascinated with whether Noah’s Ark has been discovered, while missing the lesson Noah’s life is supposed to teach us—will we trust and obey God as Noah did?

Noah obeyed when obedience didn’t make sense to the world. Will we?

“Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.” — Genesis 6:22

THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU

Yesterday we were reminded that in a world with so much division and hurt, we are still called to love like Jesus.

Maybe there’s another reminder we need too:

There is still a place at the table for you.

This Sunday, our visiting pastor will be sharing from Matthew 26:26–30—the passage where Jesus broke the bread, gave thanks, and shared the cup with His disciples.

There is something beautiful about the table. It’s a place where people gather. A place where we remember Jesus. A place where grace is bigger than our failures and nobody has to pretend they have everything figured out.

And maybe that’s a pretty good picture of church, too.

We aren’t a perfect church filled with perfect people. We’re simply people who need Jesus—and we are genuinely glad when someone new walks through our doors.

So if it’s been a long time since you’ve been to church, come.

If you’ve been thinking about coming but haven’t quite made it, come.

If you’re new to the area, come.

If life has been heavy lately, come.

And if you already have a church home, maybe this is your reminder to invite someone who doesn’t.

There’s room for you. ❤️

❤️ A LITTLE REMINDER FOR THE TIMES WE ARE LIVING IN ❤️🙏
The world feels heavy sometimes. There is so much anger, division, uncertainty, and hurt. Everywhere we turn, someone is struggling, someone is grieving, and someone is silently fighting a battle we know nothing about.
But in the middle of it all, God is still God. His love hasn't changed. His promises haven't failed. And our calling hasn't changed either.
Maybe we can't fix everything that's broken in the world, but we can be a little more patient, a little more forgiving, a little more compassionate, and a whole lot more willing to love like Jesus.
Let's stop adding to the anger and start spreading kindness. Let's pray more, judge less, lend a helping hand, check on our neighbors, and remember that every person we encounter is someone God loves.
We don't have to agree on everything to love one another. And we don't have to understand someone's struggle to show them grace.
Today, let's be the light in someone's darkness. The encouragement someone desperately needs. The hands and feet of Jesus in a world that needs Him more than ever.

❤️✝️ WELCOME BACK, PASTOR RUSTY DICKERSON! ✝️❤️

We are so excited to welcome Pastor Rusty Dickerson back to Clarendon Methodist Church this Sunday! It is always a blessing to have someone who has shared so much of his heart, faith, and ministry with us return to worship with our church family. We are truly grateful to have him with us again!

Rusty grew up in Amarillo and faithfully served as a United Methodist pastor for 39½ years. On January 1, 2023, he became a Global Methodist pastor and officially retired on July 1, 2024, after a lifetime of dedicated ministry.
