Use 1: Receive Christ’s Care Through Faithful Shepherds by:
1) Cultivating a teachable spirit.
2) Making their work joyful.
3) Remembering who they answer to.

II. V.18-19 Support Your Shepherds Through Prayer.

Use 2: Strengthen Christ’s Church Through Faithful Prayer by:
1) Praying for your shepherds regularly.
2) Praying for their holiness more than their success.
3) Remembering that ministry is spiritual warfare.

love others, honor God’s design and trust His provision.

I. V.1-3 Love Others.
Use 1: Christ loved us, therefore we must love others.

II. V.4 Honor God’s Design for Marriage.
Use 2: Christ is faithful to us, therefore we must pursue faithfulness in marriage.

III. V.5-6 Trust God Instead of Wealth.
Use 3: Christ is our treasure, therefore we do not need earthly treasures to satisfy us.
