Who am I that you keep me on your mind?
God, I'm just grateful for You
God, I'm just grateful for You
All my life, You've been right here by my side.
God, I'm just grateful for You
God, I'm just grateful for You
God Has been Faithful
There are moments when you have to stop, look back, and simply say, “God, You have been faithful.”
This past Sunday, we had 244 people in attendance at ClearView.
That is an incredible number, and we should celebrate it, but the number 244 isn't what excites me the most.
Sixteen people gave their hearts to Jesus.
Sixteen people made the decision to surrender their lives to Christ.
Sixteen stories were changed.
Sixteen eternities were impacted. And that is why we celebrate.
You got to get this, the church isn't ultimately about how many people we can gather in a room. It's about how many people we can reach with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
When I think about where we are today, I can't help but think about where God brought us from.
22 months ago, we walked into a church of 41 people.
Forty-one people who were hungry.
Forty-one people who were ready to experience God's grace.
Forty-one people who were willing to believe that God had a plan for ClearView.
And look at what God has done. We didn't do this.
God did!
Psalm 100:5 says:
“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
God has been good.
God has been merciful.
God has been faithful.
And His faithfulness isn't just something we sing about, it is something we have witnessed.
Lamentations 3:22–23 reminds us, “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness.”
Great is His faithfulness.
Not great is our strategy.
Not great is our ability.
Not great is our accomplishments.
Great is His faithfulness.
And as we look ahead to August 30, All In Sunday, we are believing God for a record Sunday attendance.
But let me be clear about why.
We aren't believing for a record attendance so we can brag about what we have done.
We're believing for a record attendance so we can point people to what God is doing.
Every additional person represents a story.
Every empty seat represents someone who needs to hear about Jesus.
Every person who walks through our doors is someone God loves deeply.
And every salvation reminds us why we are here.
I am incredibly grateful that God has entrusted ClearView with another 200 people.
But I'm even more grateful to believe that He may entrust us with another 200 people in the coming weeks and months ahead.
Why?
Because, Jesus is coming back soon!
We don't have time to play church.
We don't have time to become comfortable.
We don't have time to turn inward and make church about ourselves.
Jesus gave us the mission in Matthew 28:19–20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...”
Our mission is still the same.
Reach People.
Make Disciples.
Point people to Jesus.
We are a “Church Without Walls who Invites Everyone to set at our Table”
The growth isn't the destination. The growth is an opportunity.
An opportunity to reach more families.
An opportunity to see more marriages restored.
An opportunity to see more prodigals come home.
An opportunity to see more people encounter God's grace.
An opportunity to see more people give their hearts to Jesus.
So if you know someone that don’t have a church home invite them to set at our table this Wednesday night and again on Sunday morning.
ClearView you have to get this, God is not finished.
There are still people who need Jesus.
There are still families who need hope.
There are still prodigals who need to come home.
There are still people who haven't heard the Gospel.
So, ClearView we have to keep grinding, and believe God for more!
When I look back, I see God's hand.
When I look around, I see God's grace.
And when I look ahead, I see God's faithfulness.
All my life, He has been right here by my side! He’s been Faithful!
So let's celebrate the 244.
Let's celebrate the 16.
Let's thank God for the 41 who were there when this journey began.
Let's believe Him for the people who are coming.
And most importantly, let's never forget why we do this.
Jesus is coming Back!
“So God whatever You want to do through ClearView, we are All in.”
Who am I that You keep me on Your mind?
God, I'm just grateful for You
God, I'm just grateful for You
All my life, You've been right here by my side
God, I'm just grateful for You
God, I'm just grateful for You
I hope you have a Great Monday! Remember some of our key points from our sermon from yesterday.
“Jesus is coming back!”
“Stay Ready so you don’t have to get Ready!”
“Let your light Shine!”
“Look for the Audibles the Holy Spirit wants to call in your life today,”
“Here we go!”
Love you PJ!
