Some posts are hard to write. This is one of them.
After much prayer and reflection, we have made the difficult decision to close down our Celebrate Recovery ministry.
For the past few years, this ministry has been far more than a meeting, it has been a place where people could stop pretending, lay down shame, and let Jesus meet them in the middle of their hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
We have watched chains break, prodigals return home, and people who believed they were “too far gone” discover that God’s grace still had their address. Somewhere along the way, God used CR to change us too.
While this chapter is ending, we do not believe the work God started in people’s lives is over. Ministries may close, but the fingerprints of God remain.
To every person who walked through those doors and volunteered to help, thank you for your honesty, trust, and courage.
Celebrate Recovery was never ultimately about a program. It has always been about Jesus and He is still healing, restoring, and setting people free.
“One day at a time.”
