Tuesday Notes:

How Should We Approach God’s Grace Hebrews 4:14-16, Focal V 16

16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Do we spend enough time in prayer? Maybe we don’t know what God desires from us.

If we have been saved, we are clothed in the righteousness of God-Jesus Christ.

Jesus has become our “High Priest” and understands what we are going through. Jesus welcomes to God’s Throne.

Read Romans 8:34

Our faith in Jesus allows us to be Holy.

When we pray God can dispense His love, mercy, goodness, and kindness. Not because we are worthy, it is because of God’s grace.

In the Old Testament those who believed in God had to approach in a physical manner and had no High Priest at God’s side.

Read Isaiah 6:1-8

We are under Grace because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ therefore: we should be bold in our prayers, without fear, with confidence, expecting an answer and never stop praying.

We have an open line to our Holy Father! We should expect Mercy, Grace and help in time of need.

Are you following these guidelines and do you expect answered prayers?

He is waiting on you.

Tuesday Notes:

God Can Change You, Read Corinthians 15:9-11, Focal V 10

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Paul writes it is not him but God's Grace working in and through him.

We must not forget who and what we were before we were saved.

God transformed us, it was not in vain, we were all dead to sin, we were moved from darkness to light, as preached last week our nature was changed, God has a purpose for us, as you know only the acceptance of Jesus’ as the full payment can make us right in God’s eye. God can perform transformation in our lives by releasing us as slaves to sin to slaves of righteousness. Read: Romans 6:16

God can transform anyone young or old, boy or girl.

We have a message to share. We must be willing to share that message with humility, obligation, dependance on the Holy Spirit, and with confidence.

Have you been fully transformed or are you holding back something?

Today is the day to get it right. Remember it is between you and God.

Prayer:
“Father, today let us remember those that paid it all so that we could be free. Those that came home in body but were lost in the battlefield. For those that were left behind, may you comfort them in their mourning. May we never forget; may we honor their lives. May God bless each and every one. In Jesus name, Amen!

Tuesday Notes:

Self-Control Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Is your life under control? (A difficult and touching question)

We are to live so the Spirit of God shines in us. (How does your light shine?)

We all have desires including acceptance, love, pleasure, security, achievements, happiness, good looks, self-acceptance.

We can have these things if we are willing to surrender to Christ.

Some of the keys are “Think before you act, obey God and believe the Holy Spirit will guide you.”

The Holy Spirit was given by Jesus.

Before we act we should think-How will this affect me spiritually, How will it affect others and what are the consequences?

Have you been pulled away from “Self-control?” (Maybe bad habits?)

Would you like to change? Turn to God and you may be surprised.

2 Peter 2:9a then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations

Would you let God have the opportunity to let you bear “good” fruit?
