Celebrate Recovery Claremore FUMC Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered recovery ministry for anyone who is seeking recovery from addiction, hurts, habits and hang ups of life.

We have dinner every Tuesday evening at 6pm followed by praise and worship at 7.

And ornaments and Christmas decorations - His House Outreach/ She Brews Transition program will take these items off your hands. We will pick up.
We have about 11 -12 homes to decorate. 😊
Some of our graduates need items also.

Hello!
Steve and I had a whoops moment !
We actually scheduled a 12 step training tonight or a small group training tonight for those leaders that want to lead our small groups or lead a 12 step at celebrate recovery at first Methodist Church and we failed to pay attention to our schedule.
Steve and I will be a part of another meeting and we cannot do the training. The WHOoPS MOMENT!
If you’re planning on coming to CR training - wait to her the new date please.

Lectio this morning.
Jeremiah 29.
Jeremiah acknowledges the paradoxical truth that although the people he is addressing have been forcibly exiled by the agents of a foreign power, they remain in the heart of the purpose of God. “Thus says the Lord of hosts,” he announces, “to all the exiles whom I have sent... to Babylon.” Nebuchadnezzar may think that he has conquered Jerusalem, but Babylon has just become a mission field. The first step, “pray to the LORD on its behalf”!

What if we pray today the prisons will be a place of the presence of The Lord. Hearts can & will be changed!

It is praying for others that the blessings return upon us also.

Do you remember making paper chains?
Kairos - makes a paper chain and we write the 1st name of every one that accepts the invite to pray for the Kairos weekend.
If you will pray, your church will pray, your small group will pray, your friends will pray - we will add your 1st name to a paper chain and it is a visible sign of an invisiblye action that is taking place and it makes a real difference.
