Here at North Hills, we maintain a warm and welcoming family atmosphere, because we think a church should be a family. Whether you've been here before, or this is your first visit, we want you to feel at home. Come early on Saturday and have a cup of coffee and a muffin — on us! Our Hospitality Table is a great place to grab a bite and meet some of our friendly members. Our worship includes upbeat

music, and practical teaching that you can use throughout the week. Quite often our services include contemporary dramas and special performance music that address the everyday issues we all struggle with. The atmosphere here at North Hills is casual, so don't worry about what you wear... we just want you to come! Dress comfortably and experience one of our weekend services.

Most of us know what we think about God. But what does God think about us? When we fail, drift, or struggle, many of us imagine disappointment, frustration, or even anger. But what if we've misunderstood the heart of God? This week we'll explore Hosea, Chapters 11-12, one of the most moving passages in all of Scripture, and discover a God who is full of compassion, tenderness, and a relentless love. We all may leave seeing God, and ourselves, differently.

Instead of asking God to remove the consequences of what we've sown, we need to pray for a heart softened enough to confront them. True love sometimes means facing what's destroying us, not for shame, but for healing, restoration, and joy.

The problem is that what we refuse to face doesn't simply disappear, it continues to influence us. As we continue through Hosea, we'll explore one of the most challenging sections and discover why God confronts what hurts us, not to shame us, but to heal us. Because what we refuse to face today may be shaping who we become tomorrow.
