Great movie, even for a non baseball fan! Go see it!

THE HILL is a new Christian movie starring Dennis Quaid. It tells the inspirational true story of Rickey Hill, who suffered from a severe disability, but had a God-given dream to play Major League Baseball. Rickey's father (played by Dennis Quaid) was a pastor who struggled to understand God's plan and purpose for Rickey.

It's a powerfully moving and inspirational story!

The Hill Movie is in theaters today! Sneak preview screenings start tonight, Thursday the 24th, and the big opening is tomorrow (Friday, August 25th). Please support this Christian movie by seeing it in theaters!

Beginning this Thursday January 9th, at 6pm, free supper, and movies and games and devotions and fun......until 8:30, bring a friend, or an acquaintance you would like to make friends with, or send anyone 6th through 12th grade......No School no youth meeting.....Come help us plan what this group will be!

Food distribution truck at McGuires Saturday (4th), registration starts at 9, I would say youth should be there by 9:30 to help unload food truck, this is our January service project, we will just meet there, call Dar if you need a ride, we should be done by 1pm, but you can leave when you need to.

OVERNIGHT EVENT starts at 8pm tonight, over at 8am...RSVP to Dar if you haven't. WE are doing laundry for the Clare County Baby Pantry, then making hard rock candy and peanut brittle and then we will all be on a sugar high all night long!!! Bring a snack to share, a 2 liter, and any games or movies you might want to watch......see ya' then......
