Southern Baptists gathered in Orlando June 9 and 10 for the 2026 Annual Meeting. Here is the quick recap. Swipe through for the highlights. 👉

This year's theme was "Walking Worthy" (Ephesians 4). A few of the headlines:

🔹 W***y Rice, pastor of Calvary Church in Clearwater, FL, was elected SBC president.
🔹 The "Truth and Unity" Amendment on the pastoral office passed its first vote (76.66%). It returns for a final vote in 2027.
🔹 For the first time, 51% of national Cooperative Program giving now goes to international missions through the IMB, a goal 15 years in the making and a direct fruit of faithful churches like yours.
🔹 Baptisms rose for the fifth straight year, more than 263,000 nationwide, the first such streak in 75 years.
🔹 A new Disability Ministry Sunday was established, and the convention honored bivocational and volunteer pastors.
