Bishop Suarez was with us on Sunday May 20 2022. He helped kick off the Celebratetion of our 50th Anniversary from now through end end of the year. After service we hosted a lunchen. Food was delicious and conversation was lively. Much more to come.

Today after service we hosted a Memorial lunchen for Judy Thomason who recently went home to the Lord. Luther Hall was filled to capacity with many friends and family members of both Judy and Steve along with many members of the Congregation. All enjoyed a meal of ham and beans along with a beautiful cake and side dishes. There were many stories and memories of Judy. Thanks to many members who helped make this a joyful time during this time of grief and mourning.

Here is some additional information about the Celtic Celebration concert being performed by Citrus Consort on Sunday, August 29 at 3pm. It has been decided to limit attendance in order to ensure adequate distancing. Seating will be on a first come, first seated basis. This, of course, is in response to the rise in covid cases due to the delta variant. Masks are also encouraged, and required for those not fully vaccinated. We regret having to make this decision, but we want to maximize safety for those coming to enjoy the concert.

Hope Lutheran Church will be hosting a concert on Sunday, August 29, at 3 pm. Citrus Consort, a group of 9 musicians, will present "A Celtic Celebration" featuring songs from Ireland, Scotland, and beyond. There is no charge for admission and we invite folks from our communities to hear these beautiful voices and instruments. Hope is located at 9425 N. Citrus Springs Blvd. in Citrus Springs.
