COLLEGE STUDENTS — SPEND YOUR SUMMER DOING SOMETHING THAT MATTERS! 🌲

Camp Whispering Pines in Citronelle, Alabama is hiring college-age staff for an exciting, faith-driven summer camp experience!

We're looking for motivated, Christ-centered young adults who want to lead, inspire, and invest in the next generation while gaining real-world experience this summer.

✅ Responsibilities Include:

• Leading and supervising camper groups

• Planning and running activities, devotions, and programs

• Serving as a spiritual mentor and role model

• Supporting camp leadership in daily operations

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers

🙏 Ideal Candidates Are:

Committed Christians with a heart for ministry and service
Leaders with maturity, integrity, and good character
Majors in education, ministry, recreation, or counseling are a great fit!
Previous camp or youth ministry experience is a plus

🏕️ Benefits:

$150.00 weekly stipend
Most meals provided
Room and board fully covered
Resume-building leadership experience
College credit may be available (check with your institution)
A meaningful summer serving God and others

We are excited to welcome Wayne Gautney as the new Director of Camp Whispering Pines! Wayne brings a strong track record of faithful ministry, having previously served at Woodridge Baptist Church and most recently on staff at Stetson Baptist Church in Florida.

After a thorough search process, our committee was unanimous in extending the call to Wayne, and we are confident that God has uniquely prepared him for this role.

Please join us in praying for Wayne as he begins his ministry with us next week. Pray that the Lord would guide him, bless his leadership, and use him to make a lasting impact through Camp Whispering Pines. Our mission is to SERVE GOD BY SERVING OTHERS!

Would you consider helping us meet a need?

We need to purchase (5) lifetime tables for the dining hall. Each of these tables are approximately $100 each.

Also, we just built 11 new sets of bunkbeds. However, we are (10) mattresses short. Each mattress cost $150 each.

Camp Whispering Pines is looking for high school and college students to serve on our summer staff. We are looking for individuals who want to serve God and serve others in a fun ministry opportunity at a Christian camp. Our Summer Staff serves in all areas of camp ministry including recreation, food services, housekeeping, etc. We will also pay for any summer staff member that will be willing to be lifeguard certified. The summer staff ministry opportunity will provide a compensation package that includes weekly salary, on-campus housing, meals, training, Bible studies/worship and a great opportunity to make a Kingdom impact and build lifelong friendships!
