Happy Easter! Easter twins, beautiful girls ❤️ These are cracker cross babies so not full blooded but oh my goodness so adorable! This momma gave us our first experience with a prolapse uterus(not fun) last year, so we were giving her one more year to see how she would do. She had nice size babies, on her own, with no signs of issues this year.

Beautiful set of Crackerjack twins. Both girls! By mixing the crackers and Jacob's you get to add better wool quality to the cracker and add parasite resistance to the Jacob. Most of the time they come out mostly black however these girls appear to have more of the Jacob pattern. Because Jacob's are known for horns(up to 6) just know there is always a possibility of horns with crackerjacks or even horns woth their off spring. Full blooded crackers at times also have horns but it's more uncommon. Since 2019 we've only had 2 full blooded crackers come out with horns.

Twin boys born this afternoon. First cross set of the season. Hampshire/cracker cross. Even though the mom was the Hampshire and a larger breed of sheep, big boys and a first time mom means they had to be pulled(she tried her best). Both babies and mom are doing great! Knowing how to pull lambs can be a life saver for your mom's and babies.

It's time a year for everyone to get a good haircut! We use our wool mostly in the garden and we supply others with wool for their gardens. It's a great way to keep moisture in the ground while also adding nutrients to the soil. In our area we have a lot of sand so even though we get a lot of rain the ground doesn't hold the moisture.

New set of twins! Girls this time. We had a late lambing season this year so most of the ladies are just now ready to pop. Red(male) has 2 females left to lamb but it's looks like he'll produce all multiples this year. So far all good size lambs too. He must have heard our conversation about retiring him 🤣
