Genesis 39 Study Questions
First read the text and ask yourself These three questions
1. What does this say about God?
2. What does this say about me?
3. How can I apply this to my life?
- We see that the Lord was with Joseph even when things weren’t going the way Joseph probably wanted them to go. Why should this bring us peace during this time?
- Within verse 9 and 10 we see that Joseph would not “sin against God” even when he was a slave. How can we continue to be obedient to the Lord even in the mist of the corona virus?
- What was your response when Joseph was put into prison for being blamed for something that he did not do?
- As believers in Jesus. How can we respond in a time like this?
Now take some time to talk with God, remember that there is nothing to big or to small that the Lord can’t handle!
1. Praise him
2. Tell him what you want and need
3. Thank him
Those are the three different things I do when I pray. Do you ever just tell God what you want to happen and then say Amen and go on with your day? I do all the time, and I try to each day to slow down and go through those three things when I pray and it really helps!
I hope this helps!!
- Grace and Peace
