The Silent Helper

Our help comes from the Lord. He is at work within us both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Once we understand where our help comes from we can trust the Lord for everything. He is our ever ready, very present help in time of need (Psalm 46:1). We shall not be moved knowing all of our help comes from the Lord. Even when we don’t see Him working, He’s behind the scenes of our lives working things out the way only He can by His favor and grace. Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding because God’s way is always better (Proverbs 3:5-6). Be a God magnet for victorious living, walk by faith not by sight. Be led by your spirit not by your flesh, (your emotions or feelings). Where does your help come from, it’s coming from God whether you’re aware of it or not.

Knowledge, Wisdom and A Fool

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. To gain knowledge with understanding we must first have referential fear of the Lord. It’s a respect that puts God’s ways first; Obeying His commandments which is for our own good in this demonically influenced world. Living as He prescribes, which helps keep us safe and provides clarity for our purpose and destiny in life. Fools despise skillful and godly wisdom, instruction and discipline, just like the devil. So looking from the outside of things, you can tell a fool from a man or woman that obeys godly wisdom by the choices they make in life. When there’s selfishness involved and the pressure to have things your way now no matter what the cost, that’s not godly wisdom. Knowledge should be controlled by wisdom because too much knowledge without wisdom leads to pride, and too much pride leads to destruction (Proverbs 16:18). All fools will take their place in the lake of fire on the last day.

This Fruit That Changes Everything

There are nine fruit of the Spirit deposited in every Christian at the new birth. We have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). These are the Godly qualities every child of God must develop in their walk with God. Many assignments the Lord has called us to do for Him require a developed character based on these attributes. To be a good witness for Christ we can’t go off on people anymore because we got offended by what they said or did to us. Jesus never sinned while on earth but paid the price for ours, being blameless on every level dealing with unreasonable and wicket people. He is our example for how to live a victorious life in this day and age.

He’s My Rock, My Fortress, and My Deliverer

When the Lord becomes our Rock, our fortress, and our deliverer, He also becomes our keen and firm strength in Whom we truly trust to take refuge in. The Lord is our Shepherd and we shall not want or lack anything in this life (Psalm 23). According to your faith it will be done unto you (Matthew 9:29). He’s our Rock because He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He’s our fortress because the enemy would never try anything while we are dwelling in the secret place of the Most High God (Psalm 91). He’s our deliverer because Jesus delivered us from the sin nature which stops us from habitually sinning. You now have a choice not to sin (Hebrews 6:1-11). The Lord is my Rock, my fortress and my deliverer. Believe it, confess it, and trust it during hard times.

Worrying About Tomorrow Won’t Help a Thing

Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. In other words each day has its own fill of temptation to worry. The Bible says cast all your cares on the Lord because He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully (1 Peter 5:7 AMPC). Each day brings with it an opportunity to worry or have anxiety about something. Worry is a spirit that will attach itself to all willing to take the ride of insanity (2 Timothy 1:7). Worrying about something that may not ever happen is crazy. Instead, partner with the One Who has control over tomorrow and the next day, and so on. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Know who you are in Christ and the authority you have over anxiety, fear and even the unknown. Faith brings control to you concerning the unknown. We can write our own ticket by confessing God’s word over our lives. Speak your faith against anxiety and fear.

So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

God’s Devine Power Has Your Next Breath

Getting personal knowledge of the Lord is the gateway towards His power being bestowed upon us. Without knowledge of God, His power won’t be given to enhance life and godliness. The more we understand the Lord’s ways, the better our life will be, especially since He created life and He created mankind (Genesis 1:27). He is the manufacturer of all living things on this planet. He also created this planet by the way (Genesis 1:1-31), because there was no big bang theory that caused life to exist. The big bang was Lucifer being kicked out of heaven long ago (Luke 10:18). God’s Devine power has accomplished more than the human mind can comprehend. It is life’s sustaining force that keeps everything alive. If God were to hold His breath everything living would die, including people. Thank God for His devine power.

The Wise Man or Woman Shines Bright

Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens. To be wise is to have the mind of Christ operating in your life, the way Jesus thought while on earth. Jesus has been made unto us, wisdom, righteousness, and sanctification (1 Corinthians 1:30). We have all we need in Christ to be a wise person. We must invoke our will to study the word of God and then act on it regardless of circumstances or bad situations. Becoming one with the Lord in thought, purpose, and action is a sign of conforming to His will for your life (Romans 12:2). After you’ve gotten tired of not being where you want to be in life, and seemingly always taking two steps forward and then three steps backwards, what’s causing that? A wise person builds his house (his ideas also) on the foundation of God’s word (Matthew 7:24-27) and not his own way alone.

Is It Your Plan, or God’s Plan?

In our hearts we plan our course. But the Lord establishes our steps. The footsteps of a good man or woman are ordered of the Lord (Psalm 37:23). Once we’ve found out the truth about how to live according to God’s plan for our lives, our footsteps will line up more accurately with the steps already established by the Lord. Every person has a God given purpose to either walk in or to ignore. Whether it’s ignored through ignorance of who we really are in Christ or we willfully just want to do our own thing without God’s input. The benefits of obeying the will of God for our life come after our hearts are fixed on the Lord (Psalm 57:7). Then we can sing and give praise to Him for His goodness. You may have a good plan, but if it’s not a God plan, it’ll be appealing on the outside but unable to go to completion in reality to produce the desired outcome you thought would happen. Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:6).

A Better Way for Refuge and Strength, Escape Route

God is our refuge and strength. He is our hiding place from attacks of the enemy. He is our strength as we wait upon Him to be energized and refreshed (Isaiah 40:31). Once in a while it’s good to get off the boat, your regular routine of the grind to make a living. We all get tried from time to time and need a refreshing in our souls. God is our refuge and strength and by spending quality time alone with Him in prayer and reading the Bible, it changes us. It’s a spiritual principle that was worked out by God after the fall of mankind long ago. The Kingdom of God is here for those that choose a better method of life. In Christ we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:31-39). In Christ we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). Everything we need for life and Godliness is in the word of God (2 Peter 1:3). Life in the Kingdom of God, while still on earth, is simply a better way to living victoriously. God is our refuge and strength. Go to Him, He’ll answer.

The True Ride or Die Partner

There’s only One who is the same all the time. He’s not swayed by bad situations or circumstances of life like most people are. He treats everyone the same no matter what the difficulties are. He can be counted on for stability in times of crisis. He’ll stick with you even in the face of public embarrassment when you mess up. Thank God for Jesus Who does not change. He’s been the same in the past, He’s presently the same and His loyalty is forever towards you. He sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). Our friends may bail on us because it gets too hot in the kitchen, sort of speak, but Jesus is your ride or die companion for life. The creator of the universe has your back if you can believe it. All He needs is a little faith from you to act on your behalf concerning anything and everything about life, and your life especially. Let that sink in, and then act like it’s so, and it will become a reality in your life.
