This is a lovely view of the sanctuary of our little church in the valley of Cincinnatus, New York. Although we are small, our hearts and love for one another reaches throughout the valley and beyond. The love of God is reflected not by size, but by the love of His people. Like a baby taking his or her first steps, we are facing an ongoing effort to learn how to step forward with the Coronavirus lurking all around us. The virus has impacted not only our church, but churches around the world.
Following several months of uncertainty, we started our baby steps beginning on Sunday, July 12, 2020. We gathered in the parking lot of our church. The congregation did not know what to expect. Pastor George had arranged the chairs six feet apart in accordance with New York state guidelines. Those in attendance wore masks as required. There was no singing. Some sat and listened from their cars.
