One of the most important parts of restoring a space is healing the connection between the humans and the land ~
Despite all the mishaps and dishonor that has occurred over time on this earth, the land has continued to hold compassionate space for us.
It’s integral to be in right relations with the land around us, and that creates a kind of harmony that allows everything to be more easeful and fruitful.
Some ways we have worked on restoring our connection to the land that holds eartHeart is by cleaning up the trash (even the tiniest bits of microtrash) to let the soil breathe better, praying, communing with the creatures of the land, and offering in gratitude these altars to the beautiful cedar trees that bless us here 🌱 🌿

We’ve been really busy at eartHeart cleaning and rehabbing! We will post some updates of our progress soon. For now, enjoy these photos of our youth group day where they helped us paint the walls of our living room! ✨

It was soul nourishing witnessing these girls be so inspired about co-creating a connection space.
And we are excited to continue to cultivate a youth-network so they can have a support system to enhance their journey of life during such vital years of development.
Once the building is ready for operation, we envision having multiple programs for youth of all ages 🙂
These programs will provide practical life skill education, support in emotional navigation, creative exploration, and more! 💕

Today we hosted our first group of young-ins in the church-in-progress 🙂
It was cool to explain to them how we are going to transform this neglected building in to a beautiful sanctuary. We all discussed the powerful process of transmutation.
They had a lot of great ideas and wisdom to share, and made some nice art to decorate the space with 💕
To share a few words of wisdom from sweet Jolene:

We are a newly developing grassroots organization in Cincinnati, Ohio.
We are currently rehabbing a historical church building in North Fairmount and creating an interfaith connection space called eartHeart.

Our vision is to be a flourishing heart-centered family that nurtures the wholeness and interconnection of the global community.

Our purpose is to be of service to Life, to support Harmony on Earth, and to inspire the remembrance of our eternal connection to all that is.

Our mission is to build, connect, and sustain an inclusive network of symbiotic support rooted in unity and care for one another and the Earth. Our mission is also to create a sanctuary that holds space for the community to explore, strengthen, and honor our personal and collective connection to The Divine, within and without.

This sanctuary space will offer a variety of donation-based services, including but not limited to:

- support groups
- classes
- holistic health education
- healing circles
- children’s activities
- sacred ceremony
- inter-faith exploration
- musical events
- providing nourishing meals

and more! The possibilities are limitless ✨
